Metaschool is hiring a
Remote Global Head of Business Development & Partnerships

Metaschool is looking for a Global Business Dev and Partnerships Head to identify, partner with, and help blockchain companies bring more devs in the web3 ecosystem through metaschool. \n\nThere are 30M developers in the world but only 24k devs are actively contributing to the web3 ecosystem as of now. Blockchain and protocol companies need more devs in web3 to survive and thrive. metaschool helps these companies by building fun, free and exciting projects for web2 devs to propel to web3. Find this exciting? Keep reading.\n\nWorking at Metaschool\n\nMetaschool produces courses for devs to build, ship, and learn web3. We have over 70K devs signed up from 50+ countries within 5 months of launch.\n\nWeโ€™re a decentralized, remote-first company with teammates based in Singapore, India, and Pakistan (for now ๐Ÿ˜‰). We are divided by borders but our common mission to help devs build and flourish in the web3 ecosystem has brought us very close. If you are in any timezone of Asia and are a web3 native, we would love to have you onboard. \n\nOur Values\n\n\n\n\nBuidl dope shit! - We care about what you have built, not your degrees or MAANG experience.\n\n\n\nStay weird - Own yourself, be yourself! Diversity is our strength! \n\n\n\nImprove daily - Daily efforts compound. Donโ€™t underestimate them.\n\n\n\nDevelopers come first - We are building for devs. Put them first, always!\n\n\n\nLearners for life - Leave your ego outside, learn whenever you can.\n\n\n\nCollaborate to win - If you want to go far, collaborate and go with a team.\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Role\n\nThis role is super important for Metaschool. This is the first time we are going to onboard an individual for business development and partnerships. You will be working independently with help from Fama and other teammates who have been driving business development previously. \n\nAn example of a Business Dev activity could be:\n\n\nA partnership between Metaschool and Polygon to create a learning path around their infrastructure to help devs embrace their network. You will own the process of reaching out to stakeholders at Polygon, pitching them the idea, closing the partnership, and then helping the devs at Metaschool execute the partnership scope.\n\nA partnership between Metaschool and a Web3 Conference where we will help them with dev participation from our platform. You will own the process of reaching out to the conference organizers, pitching them a partnership, and then taking the help of teammates to execute that. \n\nTraveling to Singapore, Dubai, India, US and meeting with web3 company founders, building relationships with them, and figuring out unique ways to add them as a Metaschool partner. Business is for one time, friendship is eternal! \n\n\n\nYou\n\nWe donโ€™t have a straightforward answer to what is the ideal profile for this position but we believe an ideal person to lead this role will: \n\n\n\n* \nBe a web3 advocate\n\n* Doesnโ€™t like repetition and can automate the basic stuff\n\n* Be tech savvy (duh)\n\n* Loves to go out, make web3 frens and meet companies\n\n* Come up with unique content ideas in the web3 space\n\n* Loves to travel and/or lives on Zoom\n\n* Has nurtured some kickass web3 relationships in the past\n\n* Embraces chaos!\n\n\n\n\nIf any of the above doesnโ€™t apply to you and you still strongly feel you can do it. Donโ€™t let us stop you.. Please apply for the opportunity.\n\nPerks\n\nWe have an essential mission to help devs enter web3 and bring the power back to the individuals. At Metaschool, you will have exposure to the product, business, growth, technology, and everything in between. Additionally, you will get:\n\n\n\nCompetitive Salary\n\nGenerous Equity\n\nHealth Insurance \n\nPaid Time off\n\nMacbook + Workstation Allowance\n\nMultiple Tech subscription(s) to make your life easier\n\nAnd an amazing bunch of weird frens!!\n\n\n\n\nWe are so excited to see you around. Donโ€™t forget to apply. \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to Web3 and Travel jobs that are similar:\n\n $60,000 — $107,500/year\n

Braintrust is hiring a
Remote Canopy Sr Frontend Engineer Direct Hire

\n\nABOUT US:\n\nBraintrust is the only network that gives in-demand talent all the freedom of freelance with all the benefits, community and stability of a full-time role. As the first decentralized talent network, our revolutionary Web3 model ensures the community that relies on Braintrust to find work are the same people who own and build it through the blockchain token, BTRST. So unlike other marketplaces that take 20% to 50% of talent earnings, Braintrust allows talent to keep 100% of earnings and to vote on key changes to improve the network. Braintrust is working to change the way freelance works โ€“ for good.\n\n\n* \nJOB TYPE: Direct Hire Position (no agencies/C2C - see notes below)\n\n* \nLOCATION: Remote - United States only (Time Zone: PST/CIST | Full day overlap)\n\n* \nSALARY: $150,000 โ€“ $200,000/yr\n\n* \nESTIMATED DURATION: 40hr/week - Long term\n\n\n\n\nTHE OPPORTUNITY\n\nRequirements\n\n\n\n\nThis is an opportunity to join a tier 1 B2B startup on the ground floor. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Compensation includes. base salary, bonus, and equity.\n\n \nWhat youโ€™ll be working on\n\n\n\n\n\nAs a Frontend Engineer at Canopy, you will design and build world-class user interfaces using technologies such as Angular, TypeScript, Figma, Micro Frontend Architecture, and other modern frontend approaches. You will work closely with our design team to implement high-fidelity mockups and prototypes, and translate them into robust, maintainable code.\n\n \n\nYou will also use analytics, A/B testing, log monitoring, frontend release management, and other tools to improve the application and make data-driven and customer-driven decisions. Also important is experience in unit testing applications on different devices, browsers, and network conditions.\n\n \n\nWe are looking for candidates with strong experience in Angular, TypeScript and building web software at scale. Experience with API technologies like GraphQL, REST, gRPC, database queries, auth and security practices are a plus. Along with experiences in persistence technologies such as relational, NoSQL, and in memory cache. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred, but design + engineering experience is also fine. Excellent presentation and story-telling skills are a must. Occasional travel may be\nrequired for team and customer/partner meetings.\n\n \n\nJoining a team of talented, collaborative engineers, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies, learn and grow as an engineer, and play a key role with much ownership over product development. Canopy puts an emphasis on beautiful and functional design, so you can be sure that this is work you will be proud of.\n\n \n\nIf this excites you, apply today! This is a more senior role, but we're hiring for ambition and potential as well.\n\n \n\nAdditional Information:\nโ— We are a remote first startup, with people located across the West Coast of the US\nโ— Sorry, we are unable to sponsor visas or transfers at this time\nโ— Premium health insurance benefits, with exceptional company paid premiums\nโ— Excellent options package\n\n \n\nAbout the company\nWe are a stealth mode B2B SaaS startup that closed a seed round in record time. The founder's extensive experience and vision led to a great product idea that investors couldn't wait to fund. Canopy is building a platform for developers to compose the world's data and make it available in real-time.\n\n \n\nMany non-tech companies have underperforming websites and struggle to bring together relevant data to assist customers. In e-commerce, for example, when you click an item to see if it's in stock, users often experience slow load times and inaccurate information. The web page needs to pull data on inventory, shipping times, sales tax, and more. However, many companies can't afford to hire software engineers skilled enough to handle these challenges, so they outsource engineers, and the company winds up with a disappointing online experience for\nconsumers.\n\n \n\nCanopy focuses on real time systems and data orchestration to pull all the right information together and surface it to the right people. For consumers, this means faster load times and more accurate information in web applications. For our clients, our solution will reduce capital spent on employing engineers and new applications will be launched in days rather than months.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nApply Now!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n#LI-BT\n\nABOUT THE HIRING PROCESS:\n\nQualified candidates will be invited to do a screening interview with the Braintrust staff. We will answer your questions about the project, and our platform. If we determine it is the right fit for both parties, we'll invite you to join the platform and create a profile to apply directly for this project. \n\nC2C Candidates: This role is not available to C2C candidates working with an agency. If you are a professional contractor who has created an LLC/corp around their consulting practice, this is well aligned with Braintrust and weโ€™d welcome your application. \n\nBraintrust values the multitude of talents and perspectives that a diverse workforce brings. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, national origin, religion, age, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or protected veteran status.\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to Design, SaaS, Web3, Consulting, Testing, Travel, Typescript, API, Senior, Sales, Engineer and Digital Nomad jobs that are similar:\n\n $70,000 — $120,000/year\n \n\n#Location\nGlobal

Hedera Hashgraph is hiring a
Remote Chief Risk & Compliance Officer

\nBackground\n\nIn today's world, many blockchain projects are worth billions of dollars based on hype and speculation. Hedera Hashgraph is rooted in a true technological evolution that is disrupting the market.\n\nThe company, with its distributed public ledger, has two clear differentiators:\n\n* Its superior technology\n\n* A governing council\n\n\n\nThe Technology: The Hedera Hashgraph platform provides a new form of distributed consensus; a way for people who don't know or trust each other to securely collaborate and transact online without the need for a trusted intermediary. The platform is lightning fast, secure, and fair, and, unlike some blockchain-based platforms, doesnโ€™t require compute-heavy proof-of-work. Hedera enables and empowers developers to build an entirely new class of distributed applications never before possible. The Hashgraph platform deployed today can process 10,000 transactions per second. By comparison, Bitcoin is limited to 7 transactions per second, and Ethereum can process fewer than 15.\n\nThe Governing Council: The Hedera Hashgraph Council is the governing body of the Hedera Hashgraph network. The council will ultimately consist of up to 39 leading organizations and enterprises in their respective fields. Its membership will reflect a range of industries and geographies, including highly respected brands and trusted market leaders, to encourage a wide variety of perspectives. The Governing Members will elect the Governing Board and also contribute expertise through subcommittee membership. Hederaโ€™s governance terms ensure no single member will have control, and no small group of members will have undue influence over the body as a whole.\n\nOpportunity for Impact\n\nWith the recent vote by the Governing Council to further decentralize our network and operations, Hedera is establishing its operating structure and processes in the wake of the transition. Hedera is looking for a Chief of Staff to lead the Program Management Office (PMO) and serve as the lead for operational tasks and initiatives in support of the company, the Governing Council, and the Board of Directors. The incumbent will have the opportunity to be a part of the building of a decentralized organization. The Chief of Staff will run the PMO, with outsourced resources and close coordination with the organizationโ€™s Officers and the Chair of the Governing Council, to manage all operations and strategic efforts. The incumbent should be extremely well organized, proficient in project management, and able to bridge strategic thinking with execution.\n\nAbout the Chief Risk & Compliance Officer role\n\nAs Hederaโ€™s Chief Risk & Compliance Officer (CRCO), you will lead and execute a global risk management strategy for the organization. You have a strong and diverse finance and technology background and can cover a wide spectrum of tasks and responsibilities from developing and governing foundational policies to taking a โ€œhands-onโ€ role to design and implement appropriate controls.\n\nThe CRCO is expected to identify, assess, respond to, and communicate risks pertaining to Hederaโ€™s ecosystem and operations. You will play a key leadership role in Hederaโ€™s ongoing collaboration with Hederaโ€™s Council members. You will collaborate with Hedera Officers to determine, mitigate, and manage risks. The CRCO is appointed by the Board of Directors and reports to the Chair.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n\n* Lead risk management assessments and planning across all categories, including financial, security, technological, and regulatory compliance risks.\n\n* Aggregate legal, financial, business development, and other strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats for the company to inform holistic enterprise risk management and strategic planning.\n\n* Collaborate with department leads to produce ongoing risk assessments that track regulatory developments, network developments, financial risks, changes to the competitive landscape, and mitigation efforts. Develop and maintain a consolidated set of key risk indicators (KRIs) across each function of the organization and ecosystem.\n\n* Conduct independent evaluations, tests, and reviews of our policies and procedures and be responsible for leading initiatives to mature Hederaโ€™s Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) programs.\n\n* Ensure coordination with information security and regulatory compliance operations and staff as appropriate.\n\n* Advise the Board and Council on priorities to efficiently mitigate risks to the network and/or its use cases.\n\n* Identify gaps in the Council's strategic plan and introduce new external strategic partners or internal strategic workstreams.\n\n* Conduct monitoring and testing on company and network risk controls for the purpose of identifying gaps or weaknesses.\n\n* Monitoring GRC controls, accounting for the distributed nature of Hederaโ€™s operations.\n\n* Reporting on Hederaโ€™s risk posture to staff, Hederaโ€™s Council and Board and other stakeholders as may be required by the Board or the Chair from time to time.\n\n\n\n\nSkills/Qualities Needed\n\n\n* Experience leading global risk efforts\n\n* Demonstrated technical knowledge and expertise covering a variety of risk types\n\n* A deep understanding of risk management frameworks\n\n* Detail oriented with strong analytical skills and the ability to explain complex concepts\n\n* Ability to communicate at varying seniority levels, including Senior Management and the Board\n\n* Proven track record of delivering enhancements to process efficiency\n\n* Knowledge of financial services industry and regulatory landscape\n\n* Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.\n\n\n\n\nNice to Haves\n\n\n* Interest in and knowledge about web3/blockchain/crypto/metaverse\n\n* A growth mindset and an overall positive attitude\n\n* Ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment\n\n* Strong drive and proactivity to continuously strengthen the risk management\n\n* Strong political acumen\n\n\n\n\nEducation and Experience: Bachelorโ€™s degree with 10+ years of relevant risk experience \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to Design, Ethereum, Testing, Travel, Accounting, Finance, Senior and Digital Nomad jobs that are similar:\n\n $65,000 — $112,500/year\n \n\n#Location\nWorldwide
