Lightship is hiring a
Remote Clinical Research Nurse

\nOverview\n\nLightship is a clinical trials service provider leading in increasing access and choice in taking part in research to improve equity for all. We design and conduct studies in partnership with biopharmaceutical companies to accelerate bringing new therapies to market. Our approach is to engage people where they are and support them across their journey in a clinical trial, from first contact to study completion. We work to make it easy, convenient, and safe for people to take part by offering visits in clinics, at home, using our mobile research units, and digital health tools. By transforming the way we conduct clinical research, we can decrease study timelines and reduce dropouts to accelerate development of better therapies. A career in our team will provide an opportunity to collaborate with a wide array of functions and service lines to support our clients and projects to operate new capabilities, achieve operational efficiencies, and deploy technology. \n\nGiven Lightshipโ€™s distributed model and the remote nature of this position, the Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator must possess a willingness and desire to work independently without significant oversight. In practice, this may translate to days that have a slightly earlier start or evenings that have a slightly later end. responding to patientsโ€™ questions in a compassionate and cultural / age-appropriate manner; triaging patientsโ€™ questions to the appropriate study personnel\n\n* Documenting study data in patient records (paper and electronic, as applicable) to capture protocol requirements\n\n\n\n\n\n* Coordinating and conducting study activities with patients and serving as the primary point of contact for patients, investigators, and study personnel, including:\n\n\n* Completing pre-screening activities (e.g., phone screening) and other recruitment activities as approved by the IRB\n\n* Participating in recruitment and selection of study patients by interviewing and documenting medical history / medication history per protocol requirements\n\n* Coordinating research procedures and assessments; keeping track of all planned and completed study visits\n\n* Organizing patientsโ€™, investigatorsโ€™, home health personnel, and any relevant vendorsโ€™ (e.g., drug management vendor) schedules to complete study visits within protocol windows\n\n* Shipping materials to patients or home health personnel in preparation for study visits; collecting study materials after visits are completed\n\n* Assisting investigator / sub-investigator / designated personnel in the informed consent process as requested and delegated\n\n* Alerting investigator / sub-investigator / designated personnel when patients report potential adverse events\n\n* Managing patientsโ€™ reimbursement payments per protocol and as specified in the consent form\n\n\n\n\n\n* Coordinating general study activities, including:\n\n\n* Assisting with study start-up and close out activities\n\n* Ordering study supplies, materials, and equipment\n\n* Assisting patients, investigators, and study personnel in troubleshooting problems with supplies, equipment, or vendors\n\n* Successfully completing all Lightship and study-specific training; Nexus Mutual is hiring a
Remote Solidity Engineer

\nNexus Mutual is an on-chain risk marketplace operated by and for members. Our mission is to build an ecosystem in which anyone can protect anyone else by sharing risk. The mutual launched in 2019 and has become the leading coverage provider within the DeFi ecosystem with more than $7.3m in claims have been paid to date.\n\n\n\n\nThe protocol provides a decentralized, transparent alternative to traditional insurance companies. The economic incentives within the mutual solve the centralized insurance industry's core problem: the principal-agent problem.\n\n\nWhat we are looking for \n\n\n\nWe are looking for a Smart Contract Engineer who can help us build the premier on-chain risk marketplace for DeFi, CeFi and beyond. You can learn more about us here: Twitter, Discord, Github. Someone who can write and deploy complex smart contract logic, a team player that will work alongside our group on designing and implementing product functionalities, and the core mechanisms that power Nexus.\n\n\n\n\nOur team is working with web3 technologies across the stack. The ideal person is someone who can work both independently and as part of a team, has a good understanding of Web3 primitives, is passionate about building scalable applications, and highly curious about DeFi and Crypto.\n\n\n\nApp layer: React.js, Redux, ReduxSaga, Reselect, GraphQL, Node.js, TypeScript, AssemblyScript, MongoDB\n\nWeb3: Solidity, OpenZeppelin, Chainlink oracles, Hardhat, Mocha, Chai, Tenderly, IPFS, The Graph, Ethers.js, Web3-onboard.js\n\nInfrastructure: AWS, CircleCI, Coveralls, Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus\n\n\n\nAreas you'll contribute to\n\n\n* Writing and compiling Solidity Smart Contracts, including quirks and edge cases\n\n* Ethereum testnets and contract deployment scripts\n\n* Integrate with and fetch data from Oracles and The Graph\n\n* Assuring blockchain and web-client integration \n\n* Containerization of backend services\n\n\n\n\n\n* 1 year of Solidity development experience and experience with some of our tech stack, like Hardhat, Node.js, Typescript, Ethers.JS, Node.JS, IPFS.\n\n* Understanding of The Graph, Oracles, and the broader web3 tech stack\n\n* Knowledge of common smart contract development design patterns, industry standards (ERCs and EIPs), and best practices. Understand typical smart contract problems like reentrancy, migrations, and upgradeability of immutable systems.\n\n* Over 3 years of backend engineering and proficiency in languages like C++, Python, JavaScript, Typescript, C# or Core Java\n\n* Obsession with clean and secure code and a tendency to test your own work\n\n\n\n\n\n\nYou will stand out if\n\n\n* You have expertise or interest in tokenomics, game theory, L2s, and DeFi protocols\n\n* You are self-motivated and eager to keep up with the fast pace of a small, remote startup team.\n\n* You have a low-ego attitude are willing to learn, grow and have product ownership.\n\n* You have an understanding of layer 2 protocols, bridges and blockchain interoperability\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout us\n\n\n* We are a small and dynamic team, passion for our work describes and sets the tone for everything that we do.\n\n* We are a fully remote organisation that strives to pave the way for the future of insurance\n\n* Our compensation package is comprised of a competitive fixed (fiat component) plus a generous token allocation\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhy are we doing this?\n\nThe concept of insurance comes from communities in the past that pooled their resources to protect each other from the risks they all faced. It works better the more people are in the pool as the numbers become more reliable. But this method isnโ€™t scalable because it is a trust-based system and the network of individuals trusted by everyone in the pool only extends so far. Hence traditional insurance companies emerged.\n\nWhen Ethereum and smart contracts came along we realized we could apply our insurance industry knowledge to our passion for decentralised technology. We realized we could build a mutual on a platform where individuals only need to trust the system, not everyone in it.\n\n\n\n\nSpecifically, we could see a solution to the problem of agencyโ€”where an insurer looks after customers' money on their behalf. We also saw the opportunity to make significant cost savings compared to the traditional insurance model. As weโ€™re already in the UK, we have the perfect base to build out this concept due to the existing law around mutuality.\n\n\n\n\nThe aim is to provide our members with more simple, transparent, accessible, and affordable financial protection against their risks.\n\nMore info here ๐Ÿ‘‰\nhttps://nexusmutual.gitbook.io/docs/welcome/faq/nexus-mutual-the-basics \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to Solidity, Design, Web3, Ethereum, Engineer and Backend jobs that are similar:\n\n $72,500 — $122,500/year\n

Hightouch is hiring a
Remote Software Engineer Frontend

About Hightouch\n\nHightouchโ€™s mission is to empower everyone to take action on their data. Through our Reverse ETL platform, business and data users can seamlessly sync data from where it resides, such as warehouses and databases, to where it is needed, including operational systems and SaaS tools. Traditionally, acting on data has required engineering time and bandwidth, and left most business users stuck with charts and reports that are unable to take automated action on their data. With Hightouch, every business user, without writing any code, can activate data to streamline critical processes, improve marketing performance, and scale operations.\n\nOur team operates with a focus on making a meaningful impact for our customers. We believe in approaching challenges with a first principles thinking mindset, moving quickly and embracing our value of efficient execution, and treating each other with compassion and kindness. We look for team members that are strong communicators, have a growth mindset, and are motivated and persistent in achieving our goals.\n\nHundreds of companies use Hightouch, including Spotify, Ramp, Retool, NBA, Plaid, and Betterment. Weโ€™re based in San Francisco, are remote-friendly, and backed by leading investors such as Amplify Partners, ICONIQ Growth, Bain Capital Ventures, Y-Combinator, and Afore Capital.\nAbout the Role\n\nWe are looking for a senior frontend engineer with deep experience in developing production-ready applications and a passion for building a great user experience.\n\nAs a part of our growing frontend team, you will collaborate closely with our product and design teams to plan, build, and launch new products like Identity Resolution and Match Booster from start to finish. Examples of projects that youโ€™ll lead include:\n\n\n* Observability & alerting: As customers of Hightouch grow in size and complexity (often large enterprises with hundreds of syncs), we are exploring interfaces to allow data and marketing teams to observe, debug, and alert on data pipeline issues at a glance.\n\n* Visual audience builder: Weโ€™re constantly thinking about how we can extend our visual audience builder to accommodate increasingly complex marketing campaigns. This project will help you acquire a deep understanding of the marketing persona and the role user segmentation plays in their day-to-day workflow.\n\n* Event collection features: With the launch of our event collection product, help build features that will allow users to enforce data correctness within their event stream.\n\n* Hightouch UI: As our team grows, weโ€™re evolving our frontend design system to be more reusable and developer-friendly.\n\n\n\n\nAs a key member of the frontend team, you will also play a crucial role in shaping best practices within our engineering organization. You will have the opportunity to mentor other frontend engineers, make important technical decisions, and establish the standard for our user experience. While this is a senior role, we prioritize impact and potential for growth over years of experience.\nCompensation\n\nHightouch offers a salary range of $170,000 - $240,000 USD per year for this position. Your compensation will be determined based on our assessment of your interview performance and will be discussed with you by your hiring manager when you receive an offer.\n\nSalary is just one component of Hightouchโ€™s total compensation package for employees. We also offer a generous equity package for all of our full-time employees, as we believe being an owner of Hightouch is incredibly important.\nInterview Process\n\nOur interview process focuses on evaluating fit for the most important dimensions of the role: product sense, ability to architect complex product frontends, and alignment with Hightouchโ€™s values.\n\n\n* Intro Call [15-30m]: Introductory call with either a member of our recruiting team or the hiring manager to get to know each other and see if the role could be a good mutual fit.\n\n* Technical Exercise [45m]: Collaborate with a frontend engineer to create a frequently used Hightouch app component.\n\n* Technical Interview [90m]: Work with the interview to design, architect, and implement a complex frontend component.\n\n* Hiring Manager Interview [30m]: Chat with hiring manager about past experiences and future operating preferences to assess fit on company values and operating principles.\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to Design, SaaS, Senior, Marketing and Engineer jobs that are similar:\n\n $60,000 — $110,000/year\n
