You will be responsible for spearheading an update to our financial control environment by reviewing and improving controls within the team as well as ensuring these are as efficient as possible. With a team of four, you will be responsible for helping them prioritise and plan, and ensure they are growing in their careers and developing at all times. You and your team are the first point of contact for the Moonpig business stakeholders on financial performance.\n\n\n\n\n\nOther Key Responsibilities:\n* Oversee the month end process and reporting, including the production of the P&L and balance sheet decks.\n* Manage year end reporting including responsibility for the annual financial statements for Moonpig.com and leading our audits.\n* Lead an update in our financial control environment in advance of the upcoming UK Corporate Governance Code changes.\n* Drive consistency and standardisation of procedures and financial controls.\n* Assist in the execution of our efficiency plans, including embedding our new reporting / forecasting tool (Planful) into month end processes, and reducing manual effort across the team.\n* Partner with business stakeholders on areas of financial reporting, business processes and driving cost control.\n* Own the cash flow and balance sheet forecasting, and assisting FP&A teams more generally with budgets and forecasts.\n* Ad hoc requirements as needed to support the Head of Financial Control, Finance Director and the wider business.\n\n\n\nAbout You\n* You will have worked at a manager level within a reporting and financial accounting function, demonstrating your business partnering skills and ability to work effectively with non-financial stakeholders.
