Those are scams! NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Posts that link to pages with "how to work online" are also scams. Don't use them or pay for them. Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. A good idea is to check the domain name for the site/email and see if it's the actual company's main domain name. Scams in remote work are rampant, be careful! Read more to avoid scams. About Heliax

Heliax is a public goods lab which researches, develops, deploys, and maintains open-source protocols and mechanisms designed to serve the everyday needs of humanity. Using these protocols and mechanisms, we build vertically integrated products and networks that form coherent open systems which are capable of acting as an alternative to existing exploitative paradigms.

Two of the most notable vertically integrated protocols are Anoma and Namada.

Anoma is an intent-centric, privacy-preserving protocol for decentralized counterparty discovery, distributed solving, and atomic multi-chain settlement – a radically novel architecture for decentralized protocols marking the beginning of the third generation of architectures ever since programmable settlement.

Namada is Anoma’s first fractal instance. It is proof-of-stake Layer 1 protocol for asset-agnostic, interchain privacy. The key innovations include ZCash-like shielded transfers for any assets (fungible and non-fungible), incentivised privacy sets, and interoperability with Ethereum via a custom bridge and IBC.

Heliax is a remote-first (but not remotely-only) team, currently composed of +50 cross-disciplinary members located around the world.

  • Work closely with the Design UX/UI & Growth team, a team composed by designers, developers, and content writers on building, improving, and maintaining the existing and upcoming organization and project websites.

  • Developer-friendly documentation writing for both internal use and external use, as the projects and its libraries are/will be open-source.

Qualifications

  • Have experience establishing processes (version control, designer assets, deployment, …) and being able to reuse components and modules.

  • You’re an avid follower of the latest trends in the web development ecosystem and you’re excited about learning new technologies and contributing to them.

🚀 Grow with the company
🔑 Work with our Head of Content

We're looking for a talented, driven, and enthusiastic Technical Content Writer to join our growing remote team to produce content for us, and the industry-leading organizations we partner with. You'll form a core part of the work we do at ScaleMath, working closely with our Operations Team and Head of Content.

About Us

ScaleMath is a customer acquisition and experience agency – in short, we help industry-leading companies grow. We pride ourselves on being the very best at what we do, and offer unmatched attention to detail, and genuine care about the company, compared to a traditional agency which often just cares about doing the bare minimum to pick up their monthly fee.

We've retained clients that we acquired from the very beginning, even as we have continued to grow, accepting new clients, and expanding the team. We're a fully remote, distributed team. Working at ScaleMath is for you if you want to be a part of a driven team that's motivated and fulfilled by doing exceptional work for incredible companies every single day.

We'd like to hear from you if:

  • You want to pursue content planning and development as a long-term career.
  • You have experience writing long-form content such as blog posts, guides, eBooks, etc.
  • You’re comfortable as a manager of one.
  • You’re a stickler for style, grammar, punctuation, and finding the words and phrases that best capture an idea or feeling.
  • You are incredibly well-organized and motivated.
  • You want to join a fast-growing organization to work as part of a team that works with industry-leading companies.
  • You understand and have experience with on-page SEO.
  • You understand distribution channels for content, including search engines, social media, and email.
  • You're able to describe or create a content strategy for a given audience.
  • You have a reliable internet connection/access.
  • Know how to construct a narrative that connects the reader’s needs to the proposed solution (the client's product/service) and compels them to take action.
  • Are comfortable with writing about technical topics in detail, including but not limited to WordPress, PHP, JavaScript, Linux, etc.
  • You are comfortable receiving constructive criticism and advice aimed at helping you to grow and develop your content writing skills even further.
You approach everything you do with a spirit of partnership and collaboration, not exclusion or rigidness. You're resourceful and a true problem solver, able to feel gaps in what you're working on, pitch solutions, and implement them.

At ScaleMath, we do so much more than just create great content. We drive growth. This is a job where you can do the best work of your career. ScaleMath is committed to remaining a calm company where we don't regularly work longer than 40 hours per week, and take proper vacations.

In your role, you'll need to:

  • Create, edit, and manage content for a variety of mediums that could include: email, newsletters, blogs, white papers/guides, thought leadership articles, customer case studies, website pages, webinar slide decks, sales collateral, event collateral, and video scripts.
  • Maintain the master content calendar that schedules all aspects of the creation and delivery of content throughout the year.
  • Understand and apply SEO best practices, including formatting (H1 tags, etc.).
  • Provide meta descriptions with each article draft.
  • Create content tailored to a specific promotion or business goals.
  • Provide feedback, suggestions, and strategy for improving client outcomes.
  • Be a kick-ass teammate, communicator, and collaborator.

Requirements

  • Must be very fluent in written English.
  • Problem-solving aptitude.
  • Analytical mind with business acumen.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • BSc in Design, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience working as a part of a remote team where you weren't micro-managed.
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.

Benefits

  • Flexible working hours (ideally 5-6 hours overlap with UK Time zone).
  • 20 days paid holiday per year

ABOUT FLOWN

FLOWN helps people work better. We do this by giving our members tools to focus, and tools to recharge their focus.

Our platform offers a holistic approach, based on all the scientific research into what helps us become more productive, creative and fulfilled.

FLOWN is led by successful serial entrepreneur, Alicia Navarro, founder of Skimlinks (acquired by Connexity April 2020), and backed by well-known investors. Read more about our recent raise here.

ABOUT THE ROLE

FLOWN’s unique offering involves two types of content. These are ‘Live’ & ‘Anytime’ and focus on two key aspects of working life; focusing and recharging. We are looking for Deep Work Coaches & Facilitators to design, create and lead these sessions, both live and recorded.

Flocks

Our flagship product - live deep-work sessions called ‘Flocks.’ These utilise scientific processes and deep-work hacks to create a space for remote workers to accomplish their tasks, together. Flocks provide those who often work alone a sense of community, connection and most importantly accountability. These sessions are led by experienced facilitators and we have a wonderfully diverse community of members.

We run Flocks each weekday at a range of times to suit multiple timezones.

Recharge

Alongside our Flocks, we have a range of on-demand content that helps our members recharge. We are keen to expand this content and deliver a collection of ‘live’ recharge content. Do you have something you think you can offer here? Let us know what it is in your cover letter! Think journalling, meditation, breathwork, creativity boosts, movement and more. What unique offering can you bring to FLOWN?

Building our team

We are looking to build a network of charismatic facilitator. Each facilitator will have the gravitas to hold space for a virtual audience of entrepreneurs, academics and other knowledge workers. They require the skills, passion, and confidence to lead audiences through a range of experiences. We are interested in a diverse pool of talent, from various industries and with different styles.

We pay hourly for adhoc/occasional work, but where there is a strong fit (and as we grow) we will look to put creators on monthly retainers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Here are some of things you may be responsible for:

  • Greeting and welcoming members, creating a secular ritual space for business people
  • Guiding each group through the ritualised structure, making it feel professional yet special
  • Reciting (and eventually perhaps writing) our FLOWN meditations, designed to prepare members for a day of deep work.
  • Coordinating break-out rooms for intention setting and reflections.
  • Facilitating online deep work sessions (deep dives) - doing your own deep work in the process!
  • Hosting live Recharge sessions that rejuvenate, replenish and revitalise members at various points throughout the day
  • Writing your own content for Recharge sessions - live and recorded
  • Recording video content to be used on FLOWN’s platform
  • Running virtual sessions smoothly, weaving multimedia elements in as structured, with limited oversight
  • Genuinely helping members become more focused, productive, accountable and creative through FLOWN
  • Providing feedback to FLOWN on audience engagement and ideas for content improvement.

Requirements

We think you’ll need the following experience in order to succeed in the role:

  • Experience using Zoom and other presentation tools
    • Including sharing sound, managing chat, breakout rooms and using security tools to manage the call
  • Experience presenting to large, live, virtual audiences.
  • Experience holding space for others to be themselves and experience our content openly
  • A second monitor if you are interested in running Flocks
  • Strong and stable wi-fi connection

In addition, here are the core attributes we think you'll need to succeed in the role:

  • Charismatic presenter - you have the gravitas to command the attention of a virtual audience consisting of entrepreneurs, creatives, developers, and other types of knowledge workers. You understand how to use your voice and body to both engage with audiences and put them at ease. You are able to read from a script in an engaging manner.
  • Strong personal brand - you have a personality that our members will be drawn to. You are able to come up with new concepts for break activities, reflections, and intention setting questions that resonate with our community and reflect your personality.
  • Tech savvy - you can comfortably, confidently, and independently, operate various tools and multimedia elements whilst facilitating a live session.
  • Calm and confident - you can work off a script with a natural ease, and you know when to ad-lib to get the most of a session. You aren't thrown if things don't go to plan, and always come across as authentic and poised.
  • Passionate about deep work - you're excited by FLOWN's mission, have knowledge and expertise in deep work, and can convey this passion and knowledge when hosting an audience.

Benefits

We want to practice what we preach, and build a company and team that works creatively and productively. Although this is a freelance role, there are still benefits we believe you'll gain in working with us:

  • Scope and influence - you're supporting a founding team and will be involved in shaping our product, what we do, and how we work.
  • A focus on deep work - we exist to support deep work among our members, and believe that the sessions you run and the content you'll have access to will also help you in developing your own deep working principles.
  • A strong team - we are led by a proven CEO & Founder, and the rest of the team is equally highly experienced. We also have a high-calibre of investors with a solid runway.
  • Fully dispersed, flexible working - we are a remote-first company, so you can work wherever you like provided it's quiet and distraction-free. We are looking to build up a small network of facilitators so that we can accommodate different working preferences and timetables.
  • FLOWN membership - we will provide all our facilitators with free FLOWN membership, so that they discover first-hand the benefits we are promising our members.

Are you a talented web developer who loves WordPress? And do you get excited about building new features that will be used by millions of pet lovers every month? Then this could very well be the opportunity for you!

We’re Pangolia—one of the fastest-growing pet companies, and we’re on a mission to create the biggest, most helpful pet company in the world. Our biggest sites: PetKeen.com, Hepper.com, and ExcitedCats.com, are visited by millions of pet lovers every month, and we’re undergoing rapid growth.

Our sites are all built on WordPress, and our own cat furniture e-commerce brand: Hepper is running on WooCommerce. In this position you will be working alongside our Lead Developer on building new features and tools that help pet lovers all over the world.

We’re a 100% remote company so you’d have the freedom to work from anywhere. It's a full-time position (40 hours a week), yet you get to plan your own schedule and work whenever you want. You will become an integral member of our team at Pangolia consisting of a diverse group of 95 talented individuals from all over the world, joining us on our united goal of improving the lives of pets and those who care for them.

This is a great opportunity if you’re an amazing developer looking to rapidly grow your skills whilst working alongside peers who are at the top of their field.

You Will Be Responsible For:

Developing new tools and software that help millions of pet lovers every month (could for example be to develop a Puppy Weight Chart Tool / Calculator that helps pet owners predict how fast, and how big their dog will grow)

Developing, testing, and maintaining new features and solutions for our WordPress sites for desktop and mobile browsers that are optimized for high traffic

Optimize our websites for mobile users

Create, review, and update technical documentation

Contributing to our development processes, QA procedures, and technical planning

Communicating and supporting our content and marketing departments with dev/IT requests, troubleshooting, fixing bugs

Performing scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance and security updates on our WordPress sites

Securing and protecting our WordPress sites from hackers and malware, as well as eliminating risks

Ensuring that our servers and content delivery network (CDN) are stable enough to handle millions of users

       Improve our team’s IT infrastructure

Keep apprised of relevant new technology and best practices

You are expected to have:

  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery

Experience with PHP (7.4/8) and object-oriented programming (OOP)

Experience with MySQL and managing databases

Experience with WordPress development (eg themes, hooks, filters, plugin API, etc)

Experience with build tools like Webpack or ViteJS

Experience with Composer and basic understanding of autoloading, dependency management, and dependency injection

Experience with SSH and comfortable with basic terminal usage

       Experience with Git (and GitHub)

       Experience with TailwindCSS & PostCSS

Troubleshooting abilities (ie include finding CSS and JavaScript conflicts using browser developer tools, navigating codebases in theme and plugins, and determining whether a plugin or theme code could be causing a code conflict)

The ability to take a project on your own and get it done before the deadline

The ability to communicate well as we work remote (most of our communication is written in Slack with occasional calls)

It would be nice if you have:

       Experience creating custom Elementor widgets

Experience with Docker and DDev.com for local development

Experience with WP CLI, WP REST API, and WP cron jobs

       Experience with CDNs/Cloudflare

       Experience with unit testing

Good understanding of website architecture, aesthetics and UI/UX best practices

Understanding of basic principles behind technical SEO and performance optimization

We would appreciate it if you could work with PHPStorm so that we can use their collaborative features and have some consistency in our development processes. However, if you prefer and work better with another IDE or coding tool, that's fine! Either way, we will pay for your license.

Type of person we would love for this role

       You’re a dependable, friendly communicator

You’re passionate about solving problems with smart and elegant programming solutions. Your code is clean, understandable, and well commented

You’re a self-starter who loves taking initiative and seeing things through to completion.

You have the curiosity and desire to learn and grow your skills and discover new modern practices and follow the latest trends in WordPress

You take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of your work rather than just doing it to get it done but you are also able to balance it with not overdoing your work and being able to move and work fast

You’re able to juggle around and work on different projects and side tasks on a weekly basis. While we wish we could focus on one thing for weeks at a time to make it perfect, that’s often not the reality in a competitive market.

Benefits/Perks

Work from anywhere (we’re 100% remote)

Flexible work hours, you get to plan your own schedule and work whenever you want

       Developer Growth.

You work with modern practices and you gain valuable experience with high-traffic sites

We value self-improvement. We cover expenses for books and work-related courses

We're open to changes, you have a voice in how things get done

Your monthly pay is paid biweekly (You’re paid every two weeks)

We'll pay for all your software needs that relate to your work (IDE/Coding tools, SnagIt, VPN, etc.). Usually, we provide license (serial) keys.

We cover 100% of your home internet bill.

We encourage you to find a working environment that suits your needs the best if working from home every single day isn’t for you.

We’ll cover monthly membership and/or day passes for co-working spaces

We’ll cover all your coffee purchases for the day in coffee shops

We give you a day off for your birthday! You get to stay in bed or hang with loved ones.

       Paid company retreats

21 days of paid time off every year

Your work with a great, talented team that produces a high-growth work environment (we move fast)

Opportunity to move up in the company, and earn higher pay and bonuses

A typical workweek (example)

Every Monday, we have a one-on-one Zoom meeting to discuss our goals, whether you are meeting your goals, what went well, what did not go well, and so on.

You have one or multiple projects to complete. You can work on them whenever and however you want without being micromanaged. However, you must be able to meet the deadline and be accountable for the quality of the end solution.

You’re also responsible for maintaining the Github repository of the project you’re working on, committing/pushing/documenting your changes, commenting on your code, and writing SOPs or technical documentation (if necessary). It doesn’t have to be pages long and can be very short and concise. But, as a developer, it makes life so much easier if you can return to your code in the future without having to think too hard about what you did. This is also about being considerate of your teammates' time.

There must be some overlap in our working hours so you can respond to urgent requests (if any) or chat with your manager or any of our departments on demand if they have an IT question. This means that some extra tasks may arise during the week.

You might have a day where one of our team members needs something urgent and needs it done the same or the next day, which can be valuable to the company, or a major issue needs to be fixed ASAP, in which case you might have to drop what you're working on and work on that or troubleshoot the entire day. If your main project's deadline cannot be met because of this (which is understandable), you should be able to communicate this on time.

However, most of the time you are able to work on your main projects in solitary. We understand that developers need complete focus. You can also chat and ask questions in our Slack channels.

You might get stuck in programming and need help, or some development processes may need to be explained. If it cannot be explained/resolved via chat or video, screen-sharing calls can be scheduled throughout the week.

The team (and our work culture)

You’ll get to be part of a 100% remote company consisting of a diverse group of 95 talented individuals from all over the world. The people you will find on the team are veterinarians, marketers, content writers, editors, social media managers, graphics designers, content managers, and a lot more.

And you’ll get to join us on our united mission of improving the lives of pets and those who care for them. We dream big, and our vision is to become the biggest, most helpful pet company in the world.

You’ll get to be part of a company that’s undergoing hyper-growth, and the fast-paced work environment that comes with it.

And we’ve managed to grow at a healthy pace without ever sacrificing our culture and values.

Our company culture is focused on work and collaboration, but also while being open to the casual humor and chatter that makes us get to know each other.

We work hard, and you may have to work on the weekend every now and then if you have a lot on your plate. However, we have a huge understanding of the importance of time off, and we encourage each other to take time off.

A lot of us love traveling, and therefore, we plan on doing yearly company retreats, where we all meet up together and have fun.

We value the freedom of being able to work from anywhere, trust, and collaboration.

To help our customers succeed, we've built a social media management platform that brings together simple and intuitive schedulinganalytics, and engagement tools all in one place. We’re hiring a Senior/Staff Front End Engineer to work on our web applications. These web applications are the way that thousands of creative people around the world find great music and inspiring clips for use in their projects and campaigns.

As part of the Engineering team, your time will be spent collaborating with other front end engineers, back end engineers, product managers and designers to create the best experience for our customers. The ideal candidate loves tinkering with cutting edge technology and has at least 5 years experience building large scale React applications.

The engineering team has a remote-first culture. As such, you will be comfortable working remotely, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to manage your own time. We have a relaxed working environment, great team culture and push for a standard of excellence in everything we do.

There are a lot of challenging and interesting technical problems to solve that directly impact our clients and colleagues. Here are some example projects that we have worked on recently:

  • Build a custom audio player that includes the ability to track progress, expands to show additional details and allows users to easily explore our artist catalogue.
  • Enhance the purchase flow with additional payment options, subscriptions, and a seamless checkout.
  • Help maintain a beautiful custom React component library, including reusable components with tailored functionality and consistent design attributes.
  • Work on a multi-month greenfield project in Next.js.
  • Implement a robust CI/CD pipeline.

We’re after individuals that are curious about the possibility of technology, are eager to learn, and are diligent and kind. Our teams work well because we place trust in them to succeed. We believe in collaboration and that great ideas can come from anybody.

We welcome and encourage candidates from diverse backgrounds.

About Us

FM is the parent company of Musicbed and Filmsupply, two premium content licensing brands in the filmmaking industry. We represent an elite roster of musicians and filmmakers and place their work in movies, shows, ads, short films, and more.

Headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, we work with entertainment powerhouses like Sony Pictures, 20th Century Fox, Lionsgate, Netflix, MTV, and ESPN; as well as the world’s top brands like Nike, Apple, Google, Lamborghini, and Spotify.

Core Duties

  • Lead the front end development of product features: As well as coding out complex features, you will contribute to the technical design process. You will collaborate with your teammates (including other senior engineers) to refine the product roadmap and vision, and guide your team in building out new features.
  • Define technical direction: You will help maintain the standard of engineering excellence at FM and shape the technical vision for our front end engineering stack (React, Next.js, React Native). You will influence best practices and introduce new technologies when appropriate.
  • Mentor other engineers: Work with more junior engineers to help them grow and develop their skills.

A Great Candidate Will Have

  • At least 5 years experience developing front end applications with React (and preferably Next.js).
  • A love of Typescript and unit-tested React components.
  • Highly skilled in HTML and CSS (including responsive design and cross-browser compatibility).
  • Proven technical leadership skills, including the ability to architect complex front-end web applications.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Experience in any of the following is a bonus: Webpack, Unstated, Cypress, React Native.

Hey there,

Oliver and Vincent here, co-founders of Memex.Garden, and we’re looking for a senior full-stack engineer to join our 3 person team. $7-10k/month salary plus shares in the company.

Memex is a personal & collaborative reader to collect, annotate and discuss websites, PDFs and Youtube videos. By yourself or with your team and community. We're in Beta and you can download it here: memex.garden.
This is made for DAOs, commercial and academic research teams, reading clubs and students with the need to collaboratively read and talk about web content, papers, Youtube videos and (soon) images.

We’re funded with support from Protocol Labs as well as leading people at Protocol Labs, Anaconda, Ceramic & RMRK.

Next, you'll be working on the collaborative curation and annotation workflows and on the sync between Discord and Memex Spaces to automatically extract links and conversations from there.

Here is a demo of it: https://share.descript.com/embed/njHdzaaXN9a

About the role

You’ll be the 3rd person joining our 2-person engineering team and will mainly work on the feature development. Upcoming are improvements to the collaboration experience, image support and the Discord sync.

While we use React, Typescript, Firebase and React Native, we’re not looking for a checklist of technologies. We’re looking for people who can demonstrate experience and deep knowledge about programming and the surrounding skills to ship projects. (We’re not open to junior positions at this moment.)

This means the ability to analyze problems, communicate how you’re going to solve them, the trade-offs involved with your approach, converting that into well-written code that your colleagues will have a good time continuing on and transferring knowledge. We value how much certain ideas and technologies fit the problem at hand and the overall architecture of the product, not which technologies are hot at at the moment.

We do combine simple ideas in exciting ways to allow us to achieve much more with a small team and create a developer experience only found in our company, with much more to come. This enabled that 95% of Memex was built by only 2 devs.

Here’s some other more things important to us:

  • The hurry to get out features and the need to clean up code so we can continue to ship quickly are at constant odds with each other. You can identify what’s needed to keep us nimble and are good at communicating that to developers and non-developers alike.
  • You’re passionate about opportunities you see to make the product and our experience working on our project great and clearly communicate advantages and trade-offs, but you recognize the different perspectives will enhance your ideas, or show that your idea is not the right fit for a particular context.
  • You value simple code that is easy to understand over smart code that people are afraid to change or costs needless effort to dive into (including for your own sake after you’ve forgotten how the cleverness works.)
  • You can clearly communicate how much autonomy or guidance you need to get things done, but can also concisely keep people who depend on your work up to date and provide them with what they need to get their things done.
  • We’re building a platform encouraging the encounter of opposing ideas, and are strong proponents of free speech and care for our fellow humans. So even though we may intensely disagree, we recognize those who we disagree with as people with fundamental rights and human needs. We don’t like to nurture cultures of cancelling, labelling people with all sorts of -isms and one-sided views across the political spectrum. Lets rather look under the hood and be curious about different viewpoints.

Why are we building Memex?

On our own we can’t possibly understand the majority of polarising topics we encounter every day. However, we all search, filter, read and take notes about content online and produce information valuable to other people.

Memex aims to make sharing recommendations and conversations become so easy that we can share what we normally are be too busy to share, build on each others’ research and easily compare contrary ideas

We think that for a healthy social media environment it needs:

  • Companies that don’t have such strong profit maximisation incentives that usually lead to extractive business practices like attention/ad-based business models or lock ins
  • People with the ability to modify their own experience of a newsfeed and notifications
  • Freedom of speech, but not necessarily freedom of reach
  • Reduce need for centralised moderation through communal and individual content moderation

The economics behind Memex

We are a Steward Owned organisation in order to prevent profit maximisation incentives that lead to extractive business models and practices, while still giving the company the ability to grow big and fast. To enable that investors and team have a capped return on their investments and company can never be sold. We can get pretty rich if we are doing a good job, but not become billionaires.

We believe there is no collective intelligence without individual intelligence. For individual intelligence to be expressed in a digital space we need to be able to adapt our tools & connect workflows that individually suit our needs. The uncapped investor returns of VC money are the root cause of lock-ins that significantly hinder the emergence of an open knowledge society and collective intelligence that is able to overcome the complex challenges of our time.

Works that shape how we develop Memex:

Hi there, this is a short term engagement as we prepare a working prototype of a web application for COP27 as a proof of concept. We refer to this as "the tool", "prototype", "rough", "mock up" web user interface.

The tool you make will be some sort of graphic, graph or moving image mocked up with our data and content. We are getting user stories for this currently. We have a xed budget of USD8K to get this done. Probably this is two person weeks at most in time. THIS IS NOT A PERMANENT OR ANNUAL POSITION. We may not use this time contiguously but we need the prototype by mid October (2022) and it needs to be able to be served from our Wordpress site gbpn.org. In fact, this should be a pretty fun innovative little project.

Here is an example of a fully edged production system we made another time, but we are wanting something different and very simple for this project. See old project here:

https: //library.gbpn.org/library/purpose-policy-tool-new-buildings

The prototype will be a map or a graph or a diagram with moving parts. The data are non- state actor commitments or goals for decarbonisation of the built environment. They will be static in this prototype. This means any graphs can be hard coded. The graphic will link to a few pages of static information about a selected country. Or this may be a popup with the static information in it.

The prototype needs to be able to serve French, English and Arabic. Again, this content will be static. Needs to mount on our wordpress site gbpn.org off an orphan URL.

You will interact with us on rening our user stories to something that can be roughed out. This will mean:

  1. Hear and discuss our user needs, which are being rened as we write this

  2. Propose technologies which might be appropriate, for example Figma or whatever

  3. Make roughs, sketches or rapid prototypes we can see

  4. Get feedback on the roughs

  5. Make a stable prototype we can serve at the event that people can play with

  6. Get feedback on the prototype

  7. Feel great getting carbon dioxide out of the built environment!

Here is an agency TOR written for this work for interest.  It has expired.

At Tettra, we make software that helps hundreds of teams create an internal knowledge base to answer repetitive questions in chat and onboard new hires faster. We use our own product every day to help our own team operate too.

We’re a small, 100% remote company that’s growing our customer base and team quickly. We believe in optimizing for the long-term, which means we operate at a sustainable pace and are financially sustainable.

You’ll be the first marketer on the team, which is a unique opportunity to directly impact how we attract new customers and learn how a small software company operates directly from the founders.

This is a full-time, remote position based in the US.

About the role

  • As our first Digital Marketing Manager, we want you to bring your experience and ideas to help grow our company and attract new customers.
  • You’ll own growing our email list of contacts and work to keep them regularly engaged with our brand.
  • Manage external creative & content production teams.
  • Keep track of how our product changes and send regular product updates to our customers.
  • Update our marketing website to reflect product and strategy changes.
  • Identify and recruit marketing partners with overlapping audiences and work with them to create shared value.
  • Analyze and continuously share your results with the rest of the team.

About you

  • You have excellent English writing and communication skills.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in a relevant marketing role - preferably at a SaaS company or an agency with SaaS clients.
  • You are tech-savvy, naturally curious, and have a history of learning new skills or finding an answer through self research. This is especially important in a remote company because you won’t always have someone to ask in the moment for an answer (and is the main reason why we built our product.)
  • You love to share your learnings and back them up with data, doing so with tools like Google Analytics, Amplitude, Databox, or an equivalent.
  • You have experience with an email automation solution and CMS. Mailchimp and Wordpress experience specifically is a plus.
  • You excel at self management and can keep yourself organized, productive, and motivated to hit your goals.
  • You are US-based and able to overlap with teammates EST to PST timezones.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary - Our goal is to hire the best people and compensate them fairly. Our salaries are based on Boston-area rates and we pay the same no matter where you live in the US.
  • Asynchronous culture - We are a results-driven team and operate mostly asynchronously. We don’t care where you’re based in the US and what hours you work, as long as you can meet the expectations of your role.
  • Flexible vacation - Take time off when you need it. All you need to do is just give the team some notice ahead of time and coordinate coverage. We recommend taking at least 3 weeks off in addition to public holidays, but there are no firm rules. We trust you to take the time you need to be productive.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance - We cover 100% of you and your family’s insurance, including dependents (US residents only)
  • 401K matching - We offer a retirement plan with matching (US residents only)
  • New-hire success package - We will buy you a new Mac laptop or equivalent of your choice, and provide you a $750 stipend to spend on improving your remote setup like a big monitor, a standing desk, high-quality webcam, or whatever else you need.
  • Personal development - Up to $500 per year reimbursement to spend on learning to improve your knowledge and craft through our Free Books & Courses program.
  • Transparency - We believe that access to information is key to making the best decisions. Therefore, everyone has full access to business metrics and financial information about the company. You’ll know our revenue, goals, growth rates, and cash on hand so there’s no surprises.

Why work with us?

  • We are remote - We are a fully remote company and don’t have an office. We believe in trust and autonomy. Our internal operating system is geared towards asynchronous communication, common goals, and evaluations based on results. It doesn’t matter if you’ve worked like that before as long as you can ask good questions, collaborate & communicate well in primarily written form, and hold yourself accountable to get your work done.
  • We are a calm company - We believe in work/life harmony. Our team works a solid 40-hours per week during whatever hours work for us individually, then we sign off in the evenings and on weekends to do what we enjoy outside of work — like spending time with friends & family, self improvement, or interesting hobbies. We scope our work to only the most important tasks and get those done by not wasting time on pointless status meetings, brainstorming discussions, or projects that aren’t actually important.
  • We use our own product every day - We use our own product to share knowledge and document our processes internally.
  • Everyone has a voice - We believe that good ideas can come from anywhere. We hire smart, ambitious people like you because we want to hear your thoughts.
  • We are using our leverage for good - We currently donate 1% of all revenue to help fight climate change through Stripe Climate. We also offer discounted Tettra accounts to qualifying nonprofits to help their teams work more effectively to do more good in the world.

At Tettra, we believe that diverse teams result in better products and experiences for our customers and are more interesting to work on too. We are an equal opportunity employer and are committed to building a company that embraces and celebrates diversity and inclusion. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status

🌆Your responsibilities

You will be our first marketing hire. As our first marketing hire you will be responsible for defining, implementing, and scaling an entire marketing strategy.

You will be in charge of marketing an 18+ product in the adult entertainment space (Onlyfans alike platform).

🥳 You will have the opportunity to work on other projects. To learn more about what we want to accomplish, make sure to read more about our vision.

Let’s dig into more detail on what your first months will look like.

👉Help us reach product market fit

We are still in the works of finding a product-market fit with the product you will be working on at the start. You will actively collaborate to reach product market fit.

This means you will help us out with

  • Optimizing customer journeys & funnels
  • Gathering customer feedback and gaining insights into user behavior through analytics tools
  • Benchmarking customer segment

👉Defining strategy

We are small (but brave 🛡️!) and limited in resources. This means it is important having a strategy that gets us the maximum return with the least effort.

Due to the nature of the project, you will need to be able to think outside the box because not all traditional marketing strategies work in this industry.

A definition of our ideal strategy is needed. While we already created a basic foundation your job will be to refine and battle test this strategy. Step by step we will be scaling up our marketing efforts and implementing your defined strategy.

👉Brand positioning & consistency

When communicating a brand should be consistent. We want you to guard the cross-channel brand consistency.

👉Growth

Growth is needed at the point that we found product market fit. You will be managing growth in different areas:

  • Brand awareness
    • People should know we exist
  • Sales & conversions
    • Optimizing for more sales & conversions
  • Team
    • We know you are good, but you cannot do everything. The goal is to scale beyond yourself and this is why you will be hiring experts in more defined jobs.

👑 Who are we looking for?

🐙Generalist

We need you to have broad experience. You know what tools and techniques are available (not necessarily master them all) in the marketer's toolbox. You are a jack of all trades and love variation in your job.

💪Can-do mentality!

There are no problems, only opportunities! You see solutions, not problems. If there is a problem you will be the first to jump in and take on the challenge.

🇪🇺European timezone

We will need you to be within a European time zone.

🧑‍⚕️Independent

Working remotely means that you will have to work independently and figure things out on your own. You know how to solve problems and figure things out.

🧑‍💻Tech-savvy

We are a tech company, so we need people passionate about technology. You love to dig deeper into new technology and keep up with new marketing tech or new products that appear.

📘Eager to learn

We are aware that you will not know everything. We don’t either. You are comfortable with exploring and learnings new things. You are aware that knowledge contributes to personal growth.

👊Challenge

You get triggered by challenges and like to prove what you can do. You get motivated by big challenges and you have a winning attitude.

🛣️You want a journey, not a 9-5 job

You are not looking for a 9-5 job. You are looking for an opportunity where you can shine and contribute in a meaningful way.

🛠️Your Skillset

As we are looking for generalists you will have basic knowledge of the following topics:

  • Performance marketing / paid ads
    • Creatives → funnels → Measuring (CPA/CTR) is natural to you
    • You know how to set up and optimize campaigns
  • Social media marketing
    • Aware of the different platforms and strategies used on these platforms
  • On-page marketing
    • Optimizing user flows & funnels
    • Analyzing user behavior
  • Branding & Positioning
  • Search Engine Optimisation & content marketing
  • Affiliate marketing

🌍 Who are we?

Megaverse is an early-stage startup company, focused on creating software for the entertainment industry. We are 100% remote with people across many time zones. We are profitable and bootstrapped.

📜Our Offer

  • Remote work: Time is valuable, why would you spend time commuting? We believe in choosing our own working hours. Flexibility is needed in a world that gets more complex day by day.
  • Company retreat: Be prepared to travel twice a year for a team-building get-together with the Megaverse Team. This is to put names on the faces of all your internet superhero colleagues!
  • Supported tools to help you grow: We will make sure you get all the tools needed in order to grow and get things done.
  • Salary: Is competitive in the industry and can be adjusted to your skillset.
  • Time off: You get 35 paid days off / year (this included public holidays)

🙋How to Apply?

Send an email to [email protected] containing the following details:

  • A personal introduction
  • Listed experience working remotely
  • Attached CV describing your previous work
  • Salary Expectation (we are working with monthly fixed rates)
  • Any personal projects or code contributions you'd like us to see?

Applications not containing the above information will be ignored

⚠️ We work directly with employees or freelancers. We do not hire via agencies or other staffing companies.
