Jobber is hiring a
Remote Client Sales Representative

Are you a person that thrives on empowering small businesses?\n\nThen Jobber might be the place for you! Weโ€™re looking for a Client Sales Representative to be part of our Sales department.\n\nJobber exists to help people in small businesses be successful. We work with small home service businesses, like your local plumbers, painters, and landscapers, to transform the way service is delivered through technology. With Jobber they can quote, schedule, invoice, and collect payments from their customers, while providing an easy and professional customer experience. Running a small business today isnโ€™t like it used to beโ€”the way we consume and deliver service is changing rapidly, technology is evolving, and customers expect more. Thatโ€™s why we put the power and flexibility in their hands to run their businesses how, where, and when they want! \n\nOur culture of transparency, inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation has been recognized by Great Place to Work, Canadaโ€™s Most Admired Corporate Cultures, and more. Jobber has also been named on the Globe and Mailโ€™s Canadaโ€™s Top Growing Companies list, and Deloitte Canadaโ€™s Technology Fast 50โ„ข, Enterprise Fast 15, and Technology Fast 500โ„ข lists. With an Executive team that has over thirty years of industry experience of leading the way, weโ€™ve come a long way from our first customer in 2011โ€”but weโ€™ve just scratched the surface of what we want to accomplish for our customers.\n\nThe team: \n\nOur Sales team gains an understanding of who our customers are, what their businesses do, and how Jobber can help them succeed, to turn leads into advocates.\n\nThey all have an incredible passion for sales, our customer, and a connection to our purpose. This team is focused on delivering on the promise to make small businesses more successful, and they celebrate, motivate, and challenge each other daily. They also want to see each other be successful, through regular 1:1โ€™s which focus on performance, coaching, and long-term development, and consistent feedback on how you can continue to grow.\n\nThe role:\n\nReporting to the Manager, Expansion, the Client Sales Representative will play a significant role in continuing to develop the trust we have with small businesses in our journey to power the world of mobile services. This role works with our customers to strengthen the connection they have with Jobber by providing them great customer service, while also looking for ways to grow our  relationship with them. \n\nThe Client Sales Representative will: \n\n\nManage a pipeline of our existing customers to help them achieve long-term success, while providing recommendations  on how to best utilize Jobber, from specific workflows to feature fits.\n\nProactively connect with customers and refine the sales process by generating new sales using existing and potential customer networks. You'll be connecting with an upwards of 20 customers a week to make sure they're finding the right success in Jobber.\n\nConsistently achieve results by hitting and overachieving your targets by working a high volume of calls and conversations.\n\nCommunicate and collaborate with multiple departments to ensure feedback is communicated around initiatives, products and campaigns.\n\nTrack key information in Salesforce for follow-up and analytics.\n\n\n\n\nTo be successful, you will need:\n\n\nDemonstrated experience in an outbound sales environment with commission and/or targets. You can speak to them, and can speak to how successful you were.\n\nTo be high energy. You will be required to sell in a dynamic environment with a fairly short sales cycle. You should be energized by high volume and the prospect of uncapped earning potential!\n\nTo be driven and tenacious. In sales, not every customer will say yes or be open to changing their business workflow. We need you to dust off your jeans and get right back in the saddle...quickly.\n\nTo find solutions. If something isnโ€™t going right, youโ€™ll take care of it. Not every conversation will be the same, and you're quick at thinking on your feet.\n\nTo be coachable and adaptable. The sales team is always changing and evolving, so being flexible and good with change and ambiguity is important.\n\nTo enjoy technology. We're working hard to empower the world with mobile technology and are looking for someone who wants to share their excitement.\n\nTo have a strong and confident communication style. You should have the ability to actively listen and consult with our customers and get a true understanding of who they are and what they need. This position involves a good deal of phone time, so these skills are imperative.\n\nPrevious experience with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, preferably SalesForce.\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to SaaS, Video, Senior, Engineer, Backend, HR, Python, Docker, Mobile, Marketing, Stats, Design, Digital Nomad, Testing, API, Salesforce and Sales jobs that are similar:\n\n $60,000 — $120,000/year\n \n\n#Location\nVancouver, British Columbia, Canada

\nAbout Coda\n\nCoda started with an observation: In a world full of applications, why do documents and spreadsheets still run everything? And why haven't they been meaningfully updated in over 50 years? Coda is a new doc that's familiar and flexible like the documents you're used to, but comes with building blocks you can combine to create docs as powerful as apps. It's a big product with an even bigger mission. And we need your help to spread the word! We're backed by some of the Valley's leading venture capitalists, and have assembled a world-class team across offices in San Francisco, Mountain View, and Seattle, and remote employees all over the US. In fact, all our jobs are open in any location across the US. Here's a quick overview of what we do.\nAbout the Role\n\nTL;DR: Solutions Architects use the building blocks across Coda to design, develop, and launch solutions to the market.\nThey launch these solutions for many personas across multiple verticals (team / industry) and horizontals (use cases, JTBD). Comfort with Figma.\n\n* Engineering: System database structure, logic with buttons, automations, integrations / embeds (Packs and the SDK - experience with APIs/ .js a plus ).\n\n* Product sensibility: Persona (industry / team function), use cases, JTBD / user stories, user research. Highly empathetic and able to deeply understand their needs/challenges/problems so that we create the best solutions that resonate with them.\n\n* Customer-facing enablement: Interface with sales/success/support and especially Solution Engineers to iterate on messaging (discovery, pitch, demo), the solution, competitive positioning, and the value sell.\n\n* Marketing: embed and provide authentic value within target communities (social, persona specific), co-create with high-profile influencers / users, create hype, craft campaigns, launch products, support case studies\n\n* Video: GIFs, video production tinkerer, punchy demos with tools like Loom/YouTube\n\n\n\nHow we care for our Codans!\n\nStarting on your first day of employment, Coda offers a wide range of benefits and perks that support eligible employees and their family members. Some of our benefits include:\n\n\n* Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance\n\n* 401k\n\n* Optional Remote or in-office work\n\n* Commuter Benefits\n\n* Cell & Internet Subsidy\n\n* Lunch Subsidy\n\n* Fitness Subsidy\n\n* Parental Leave\n\n* Annual Educational Stipend\n\n\n\n\nAt Coda, we are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, non-disqualifying physical or mental disability, national origin, veteran status or any other basis covered by appropriate law.
