You will perform configuration for those EDC projects and building those  studies in the needed EDC platform. In addition, as the Database Programmer you will perform Quality  \n\nControl of configured projects for activities that you did not perform the development/configuration.  You will also provide consulting services that may include user acceptance testing (UAT) of EDC systems,  global library/standards development, and report quality control. \n\nJob Responsibilities: \n\n\n* Assists with database design or modifications to solve database processing problems considering  computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results\n\n* Performs the administration, monitoring, tuning and support of databases in the production environment\n\n* Support Lab Administration and Coder Module within Medidata\n\n* Design specifications of EDC Trial Build services for core configuration, eCRFs, data validations (DVS)  and reporting\n\n* Develop configuration of the EDC trial by utilizing the trial design specifications for eCRFs, DVS,  custom functions integrations and reporting\n\n* Advise clients on best practices for clinical database builds, eCRF layout and compliance with CDISC/CDASH standards\n\n* Implement and perform data integrations Founded by the Center for American Progress Action Fund, League of Conservation Voters, and Sierra Club, Climate Power integrates hard-hitting research, polling, state and national earned media, digital and paid media to influence the national conversation, embolden leaders to take immediate, bold climate action, and expose climate deniers and their oil and gas lobby allies. \n\n\nLearn more about our organization and work here: Climate Power: We’re hiring\n\n\n\nAbout This Role\n* Climate Power is seeking to add a Manager, State Political Research to our research department to generate actionable research to generate actionable research focused on climate progress and the politics of climate action in key states. \n\n\n\nPrimary Responsibilities\n* Manage internal departmental research in the issue area, overseeing Senior Associates’ and Associates’ contributions to larger political projects as needed. \n* Lead the research team’s rapid response work, working closely with the Communications Rapid Response Director on rapid response needs. \n* Monitor and report on the 2024 electoral cycle – including both presidential and Congressional campaigns. \n* Generate actionable research that can be used in communications materials, media pitches, and campaign tactics to hold elected officials accountable.\n* Work closely with the Research Director and Communications team to pitch research findings to media outlets.\n* Identify frequent research opportunities for Climate Power to hold political candidates accountable. \n* Work across the organization to manage research-driven projects and campaigns in the issue area.\n* Draft reports, fact sheets, and other political research and communications materials.  \n* Assist with gathering facts for reports and other written research products as directed by the Deputy Research Director.\n\nAdditional responsibilities may be assigned as need and capacity dictate.\n\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\n* 5 years of relevant prior work experience in political research. Preference for candidates with at least one cycle of opposition research experience covering an election at the federal level. Preference for candidates who have experience working with Communications teams. \n* 2 years of people and/or project management experience; demonstrated success in leading departments and diverse teams and managing complex projects.\n* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.\n* Strong organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities with minimal direct supervision.\n* Strong news judgment and knowledge of the political media landscape.\n* Strong familiarity with research tools, including LexisNexis and campaign finance filings. This is a generalist role where you might touch any of the following in the same week: managing an HRIS system, coordinating learning & development efforts, driving our operational needs, or helping prepare for a new hire’s first day. In this role, you’ll get to impact every employee’s experience and relationship with Scorpion Therapeutics.\n\nAs the People and Culture Partner, your primary responsibilities include the following:\nPeople & Culture Operations:\n\nPlay a leadership role in onsite people operations, serving as the primary face of new-hire onboarding, including initial key card and security system setup, seating assignment and seating map management, facilitating transportation/ parking arrangement for new and existing hires, and more.\n\nDeliver exceptional hiring and candidate experience by coordinating scheduling through our ATS (Greenhouse).\n\nEnable a smooth and successful employee onboarding experience by managing the onboarding process, gathering consistent feedback, and incorporating improvements to continuously improve new hires’ experience at Scorpion.\n\nAssist employees with benefit enrollments such as Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k and being a go-to resource for People Operations and Benefit questions.\n\nMaintain digital employee records and update HR databases accordingly. \n\nProvide HR and Culture support as ad hoc.\n\n\n\nEmployee Experience:\n\nSupport cultural efforts such as advising on a company culture plan, strategizing around events, and partnering with relevant team members on larger scale quarterly team events.\n\nWe have an exciting People & Culture strategy and series of projects to work on!
