Remote Junior Accountant

\nThis is a remote, work from home position. We are seeking a remote Junior Accountant in  Philippines.\n\n\nJoin Our Team as an Associate Accountant. With a minimum of 3 years experience in accounting, payroll, and financial statements, you'll handle full-cycle bookkeeping and provide valuable insights. Utilize your strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software to drive success. Take ownership, grow professionally, and make an impact! Willing to work a graveyard shift.\n\n\nRate paid in PHP: 40,000 - 60,000 (depending on experience)\nSchedule: : 9AM - 6PM  EST | 9PM - 6AM Manila Time\n\n\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n* Day-to-day record keeping used for management reporting and other analytical reports.\n* Management of A/R, A/P, and/or invoicing.\n* Assist in client planning, budgeting, and forecasting.\n* Preparation of clientโ€™s monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements, month-end close processes, journal entries, monthly reconciliations, financial reporting, etc.\n* Act as our firmโ€™s in-house expert on the internal processes of designated clients, documenting what is learned, and assisting in the development of controls and improvements.\n* Working directly with clients to obtain documentation and other information, ensuring time is scheduled and tracked, and that all client deliverables are met through the achievement of milestones.\n* Ensure client confidentiality and maintain professional communications at all times while working with our team, with clients, vendors, and other third parties.\n* Complete any required administrative or ad-hoc work to assist the firm or other members of our team.\n* Solve problems as they arise and escalate to a manager as necessary.\n* Other duties may arise to meet the needs of our clients and the firm.\n\n\n\nRequirements:\n* Graduate of Accounting/Finance/Business/Bookkeeping or related\n* Minimum of 3 yearsโ€™ experience in Accounting\n* Proficiency and experience with Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Outlook)\n* Familiarity with full cycle bookkeeping\n* Comfortable with learning new systems and software (QuickBooks Online, Receipt Bank, Yardi, etc.)\n* Familiarity with CRA requirements and filings (HST, WSIB, EHT)\n* Experience with cloud-based bookkeeping software (QBO, XERO, etc.) is preferred.\n* Strong people skills and a team-player mindset are essential.\n* Great communicator โ€“ both written and verbal.\n*  Adaptable. As a Staff Software Engineer at Huntress, you will be responsible for leading a feature delivery team in the design, development, and high-quality release of software features for the Huntress MDR for M365 Platform that provides for automated detection and human-powered threat hunting. You will focus on creating the technical vision for new and exciting features from the product roadmap.
