As our Visual Designer, you will use your skills in drawing, color, composition, and storytelling to create engaging images that enliven product descriptions, technical data, and key brand messages for our customers.

You will work closely with our design team, creative directors, and marketing experts to generate illustration concepts for print and digital, and you’ll be responsible for bringing those concepts to a high level of polish that elevates our brand.

Responsibilities:

• Use digital illustration tools such as bitmap and vector graphics applications
• Work with fellow digital team members and stakeholders to discuss and create designs and workflows
• Prepare rough drafts according to illustration/design requirements
• Discuss client needs and identifying an audience for illustrative work
• Stay up to date with new design techniques and software

What we’re looking for:

• Portfolio highlighting multiple projects and your direct contributions.
• A Portfolio of work showcasing creativity and accessible storytelling made for global markets.
• Experience thinking “out of the box” when infusing charm into EDU content
• Experience building design systems or user experiences while adhering to overall brand standards.
• Excellent typography, illustrative, and visual-design skills.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite software.
• Self-motivated, able to prioritize and manage workload, able to balance multiple projects at once and meet critical project deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build good working relationships.
