You will be our first marketing hire. As our first marketing hire you will be responsible for defining, implementing, and scaling an entire marketing strategy.

You will be in charge of marketing an 18+ product in the adult entertainment space (Onlyfans alike platform).

👉Help us reach product market fit

We are still in the works of finding a product-market fit with the product you will be working on at the start. You will actively collaborate to reach product market fit.

This means you will help us out with

• Optimizing customer journeys & funnels
• Gathering customer feedback and gaining insights into user behavior through analytics tools
• Benchmarking customer segment

👉Defining strategy

We are small (but brave 🛡️!) and limited in resources. This means it is important having a strategy that gets us the maximum return with the least effort.

Due to the nature of the project, you will need to be able to think outside the box because not all traditional marketing strategies work in this industry.

A definition of our ideal strategy is needed. While we already created a basic foundation your job will be to refine and battle test this strategy. Step by step we will be scaling up our marketing efforts and implementing your defined strategy.

👉Brand positioning & consistency

When communicating a brand should be consistent. We want you to guard the cross-channel brand consistency.

👉Growth

Growth is needed at the point that we found product market fit. You will be managing growth in different areas:

• Brand awareness
  • People should know we exist
• Sales & conversions
  • Optimizing for more sales & conversions
• Team
  • We know you are good, but you cannot do everything. The goal is to scale beyond yourself and this is why you will be hiring experts in more defined jobs.

Description:

As a Growth Engineer, you will have a direct impact on Alma's growth. You will be putting technology at the service of business growth by working with a large technical stack to solve very real problems.

You will be part of the Marketing team and work in close collaboration with the Sales team. The scope of your mission will enable you to work on a wide range of topics from lead scoring to data management to scraping, among others.

Your responsibilities will consist in:

• Translate the business challenges into technical projects to be implemented
• Manage and develop the marketing team's custom tools
• Participate in the creation of the marketing roadmap
• Manage certain technical aspects of the website (particularly the tracking)
• Make the important data accessible to the marketing and sales teams
• Maintain and improve time-saving automation (CRM, email, etc.)
• Choose the right technology stack to address our challenges

In 2021, we did a lot of testing and created flows that allowed us to generate (many) leads. These flows, mainly no code (integromat, G.Sheet, etc), are beginning to reach their limit. In 2022, we need to scale them in order to sustain their usage and improve their performance. In addition to that, there are also all the ideas that we have and that you will have, as well as what we will be able to achieve e thanks to you.

Here are some upcoming growth projects for which you will be essential:

• Scale the current flows: transform DIY no code to full-fledged scalable and maintainable "products".
• Build the 2022 flows (and there are plenty in the pipeline, such as converting inbound leads into outbound leads)
• Set up a 2.0 lead scoring system.
• Enhance marketing automation (trigger actions based on prospect/customer behavior).

Profile:

We are looking for a developer who wants to work outside of a technical/product team and who wants to work on more business-related topics.

We want you to know how to code, but more than that, we expect you to be really rigorous in applying coding best practices (testing, maintenance, legacy code management, etc.

For this position, you must be ready to switch between subjects very often: you will work on enrichment, scraping, landing pages, SEO, etc. And sometimes, all in the same week.

You are the owner of your subjects, you put your ideas into practice and you make sure that what is delivered is in line with business expectations.

You are the right candidate if :

• You have good experience in software engineering within a technical team (2-3 years)
• You have a strong interest in business and marketing issues
• You like to interact with non-developers
• You are a self-starter and a fast learner, and you don't hesitate to challenge the status quo: we'll be happy to see that you have ideas that we don’t
• You are willing to change topics often (our projects rarely exceed 10 days!)
• Ideally, you speak the same language as marketing (mostly acronyms and anglicisms)

Growth Marketer need to be full-stack and have the ability to analyze and take action on metrics from any channel at any part of the funnel.

A growth marketer's core function is to identify marketing channels, solutions, [and] ideas that will efficiently drive new customers to the brand and increase revenue.

Ultimately, growth marketing is defined as much by its process as end results, though: iterative testing. Improve engagement and conversion metrics throughout the marketing funnel. A good growth marketer thinks big and tests small. We expect a quick execution focus with aligning with a long-term strategy.

Ideal Candidate:

• Creative (can easily design ad working with a designer or even itself)
• Data-driven (CAC, LTV, ROAS, Churn, ICP, DIY A/B testing), SQL – a big plus!
• Open to any new channel (previously worked on a variety of channels, and touched a variety of stages of the customer journey — for instance, paid acquisition and lifecycle marketing)
• Engineers at heart / No-code automation (Engineer-like marketing mind. Growth marketers are passionate about turning a business model and the entire customer funnel into a highly productive, predictable machine. Be able to optimize pipeline using no-code automation)
• Little impatient to see the results (In this role, impatience is a good thing). Growth marketers can, and should, focus on boosting conversions and engagement in the short-term.
• Innovative (Forward thinking means that growth marketer will often encourage to test out newer channels like TikTok or underrated channels like Pinterest. Bring new measurement strategies to the table for these new channels.)
• Manager – be able to organize workflow for graphic designers, marketing managers, copywriters, and developers to implement strategies.
• Ownership – own the end result, entrepreneur-like mind. Be able to see the whole product-marketing in eagle view.
