\nEyeline Studios\nAt Eyeline, Scanline VFX's virtual production division, we want to provide you with a solid foundation where you can be a part of an innovative team of brilliant researchers, developers and virtual storytellers. Learn more.\n\n\nWe are seeking exceptional PhD students to join our research team as Research Interns for the Summer 2025 internship program. \n\n\nAs a Research Intern, you will work on groundbreaking research projects using video/image generative AI and 3D neural representation/reconstruction techniques to revolutionize the field of filmmaking, content (re)creation, and visual effects/enhancements (relighting, super-resolution, stylization, etc).\n\n\n\nKey Responsibilities\n* Engage in hands-on research activities related to video/image generative AI and 3D neural representation/reconstruction\n* Work on developing and implementing innovative algorithms and techniques to address challenges in the field of filmmaking, content (re)creation, and visual effects/enhancements (relighting, super-resolution, stylization, etc)\n* Conduct experiments to validate research hypotheses and prototype new ideas\n\n\n\nQualifications\n* Enrolled in PhD in Computer Vision, Graphics, Artificial Intelligence, and/or Machine Learning.\n* Demonstrated software engineer experience\n* Expert knowledge of  Python, C++, or other related programming language\n* Practical experience working with neural network training/inference and architecture design for video/image generative AI or 3D representation\n* Practical knowledge of content (re)creation using generative AI, including diffusion models\n* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written\n\n\n\n\n\n$45 - $65 an hourThis salary range is specific to applicants applying to our position in Los Angeles, CA. To determine your base salary, we consider your qualifications, skills, and experience.
