Databento is hiring a
Remote SEO Internship

\nThe financial industry is growing at a record pace, but our data providers are still stuck in the past โ€” with cumbersome onboarding processes, complicated APIs, slow infrastructure, and expensive licensing costs.\n\nDatabento is the next-generation market data provider โ€” with the radical idea that you should only pay for the data that you use. We power the world's largest finance and fintech institutions and lower the barrier of entry for small startups.\n\nSince starting in 2019, we've raised over $27.8M in funding and have over 2,000 companies signed up pre-launch. Our team consists of former data users from firms like Two Sigma, Belvedere, Pico, Bloomberg, Pinterest, and Google.\n\nWe offer health, dental, disability, and life insurance benefits, as well as 401(k) matching and visa sponsorships. We accommodate 100% remote work, with teammates living around the globe and paid in their local currency.\nResponsibilities and Timing\n\nYou'll be helping us ideate and execute on SEO, SEM, and related campaigns. You'll also get the opportunity to interact with our current and prospective users, as well as across the engineering and product teams at Databento. We accept applications on a rolling basis; however, the internship will last from early June until the end of August, usually for a duration of 10 weeks, with the option to extend by a week or two. Interns have the option of working in their own timezone or in Eastern Standard Time. If you have any further questions, please visit our job application FAQ. \nDesired Qualifications\n\n\n* Experience with SEO, SEM, digital marketing, inbound marketing, B2B social media, and/or B2B sales, ideally outside of the classroom (e.g. personal projects, internships, and co-ops) \n\n* Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially for LinkedIn, Twitter, and Medium \n\n* Knowledge of CRMs like Hubspot, as well as SEO / SEM tools like Semrush and Google Search Console \n\n* An interest in quant trading, market data, and/or the financial industry \n\n* A desire to work at a fast-growing fintech startup \n\n\n\n\nNo financial experience is required, but we prioritize folks with an interest in the industry. We genuinely nurture each individual to become an integral part of society, no matter where you go in the future. After the internship, you'll have the option to work part-time throughout the year until graduation. We've hired interns from as early as sophomore year, who are now a core part of our team. This internship is 100% remote and location-agnostic, so you're welcome to live wherever you want - we can pay you in your local currency, and we sponsor H1Bs and other visas. \n\n--\n\nDatabento, Inc provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, veteran status, or genetics. In addition to federal law requirements, Databento complies with applicable state and local laws governing nondiscrimination in employment in every location in which the company has facilities. Matter Labs is hiring a
Remote Research Internship

At Matter Labs, we believe freedom drives progress and prosperity. We donโ€™t see ourselves as a company, but as a team aligned around a single mission: to advance personal freedom for all (see ZK Credo).\nTo achieve this goal, weโ€™re building zkSync โ€” a credibly neutral, fully open source technology stack and network on top of Ethereum, which is owned and governed by its community. We use advanced cryptography called zero-knowledge proofs to scale Ethereum infinitely without compromising on security or decentralization. With a world-class team, a community of over 1M supporters across Twitter + Discord, and hundreds of millions $ in funding, we have abundant resources to accomplish the mission.\nThe Role\nPhD interns play a vital role in research organisations, and this significance holds particularly true in the field of blockchains, which encompasses various disciplines. At Matter Labs, our work spans a wide range of areas, including applied machine learning, applied cryptography, and numerous systems domains such as consensus, verification, compilers, and networking, among others. We are actively seeking PhD students specialising in these fields, who are enthusiastic about the prospect of their ideas finding a welcoming environment within a rapidly expanding layer-2 blockchain ecosystem.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nAs part of your role, you will engage in conducting experiments, collaborating with academics and engineers, generating innovative ideas, and determining ways to enhance the current state of the field. This involves keeping up with the latest research published in papers and staying informed about the advancements made by dynamic startups operating in our domain. Typically, we appreciate the emergence of research papers resulting from internships at the PhD level.\nWhat We Look For in You\nWe are seeking individuals who possess pertinent expertise, as evident from their recent research outcomes like papers, and who are also enthusiastic about tackling challenges head-on until a solution is found. We are interested in individuals who strike a balance between academic excellence and a practical mindset.Working at Matter Labs\nAt Matter Labs, you have the freedom to work how you want, when you want, and from where you want. All positions are 100% remote (with optional travel to team and/or industry events). We operate in lean and nimble teams, with no time tracking and minimum bureaucracy. We move fast. Only results matter. We will provide you with everything you need to learn, grow, and be productive.\nOur results-only environment means anyone who believes in our mission can join us, regardless of background, sexual orientation, race, gender, and age. Both our team and community are made up of people from diverse backgrounds. That's why, out of politeness and respect, we refrain from opinions on politics, religion, or sex at the workplace.\nWe designed our culture around the tenants of freedom and ownership. This ethos will underpin our positive-sum community as we evolve toward full decentralization.\nIf this role resonates with you, apply now for prompt feedback.\nRead more about working at Matter Labs here.\nImportant: We are remote-first, operating in the timezones between UTC-5 (Latam and Atlantic Coast) to UTC+7 (South-East Asia). While weโ€™re currently not hiring in the US, we do consider US-based applicants willing to relocate. \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to Ethereum and Non Tech jobs that are similar:\n\n $67,500 — $107,500/year\n

We accommodate 100% remote work, with teammates living around the globe and paid in their local currency.\nResponsibilities\n\nYou'll be helping us ideate and execute on SEO, SEM, and related campaigns. You'll also get the opportunity to interact with our current and prospective users, as well as across the engineering and product teams at Databento. \nDesired Qualifications\n\n\n* Experience with SEO, SEM, digital marketing, inbound marketing, B2B social media, and/or B2B sales, ideally outside of the classroom (e.g. personal projects, internships, and co-ops) \n\n* Strong written and verbal communications skills, especially for Linkedin, Twitter, and Medium \n\n* Knowledge of CRMs like Hubspot, as well as SEO / SEM tools like Semrush and Google Search Console \n\n* An interest in quant trading, market data, and/or the financial industry \n\n* A desire to work at a fast-growing fintech startup \n\n\n\n\nNo financial experience is required, but we prioritize folks with an interest in the industry. We genuinely nurture each individual to become an integral part of society, no matter where you go in the future. After the internship, you'll have the option to work part-time throughout the year until graduation. We've hired interns from as early as sophomore year, who are now a core part of our team. This internship is 100% remote and location-agnostic, so you're welcome to live where ever you want - we can pay you in your local currency, and we sponsor H1Bs and other visas. \n\nWe accept applications on a rolling basis and are flexible on timing. Some internships last for the summer, while others last throughout the semester. While internships traditionally target students, we are open to early- and mid-career folks who are looking to transition into sales or marketing. \n\n \n\nDatabento, Inc provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, veteran status, or genetics. In addition to federal law requirements, Databento complies with applicable state and local laws governing nondiscrimination in employment in every location in which the company has facilities. This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation and training. Pursuant to applicable laws, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. And if you believe that you will need any type of accommodation, please let us know. \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to Finance, SEO, Sales and Non Tech jobs that are similar:\n\n $30,000 — $55,000/year\n
