The Jr. Product Owner (PO) is an enabler of efficient agile product development. You will document clear business specifications from business stakeholders and work with the development team to ensure technical specifications and final delivery meet the business requirements. \n\n\nYou are the executor of our client's product roadmap and will report to the Product Manager who is responsible for the long-term and strategic aspects of product management. \n\n\n\nWhat you will do:\n* Responsible for documenting clear business specifications and outcomes \n* Ensure key stakeholder needs are addressed\n* Participate in user research to empathize with user needs\n* Ensure the near-term roadmap is executed (i.e., backlog prioritization) according to plan\n* Report on the status of the short-term product roadmap\n* Be engaged in all (time zone permitting) agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily sprint standups \n* Provide real-time feedback to development, addressing any issues mid-sprint\n* Understand product features, strategy, competitive landscape, roadmap, pricing, and messaging\n\n\n\nQualifications & Skills:\n* Must have cybersecurity domain expertise – either by education, certification, or past work experience\n* Relevant experience working with product and development teams on SaaS applications or recent graduate with relevant studies\n* Demonstrated ability to learn and effectively use tools in agile development such as Jira, Confluence, Figma\n\n\n\nEducation & Certifications:\n* Bachelor’s degree or better\n* Cybersecurity studies, certification, or experience\n* Preferred but not required, Cybersecurity certification such as GIAC, CISSP, CompTIA Security+ or similar\n* Preferred but not required, Agile or scrum methodology certification such as Professional Scrum Product Owner or similar\n* Preferred, but not required, Product owner/manager certification such as Pragmatic Institute or similar\n\n#LI-REMOTE#LI-DC1\n\n\n\n\nIf you decide to apply for the position, any email, files, attachments and personal data which you provide shall be processed by Cprime, inc., are confidential, and intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed.
