\nAbout this role\n\nFaire is looking for an IT Procurement Lead to join the Faire IT team. Youโll help Faire build out and scale our IT Procurement and Logistics function, ensuring we are efficiently delivering amazing experiences to our employees. This role will be responsible for the global procurement function, which includes SaaS, hardware, and logistics. You will use data to understand how we can make better decisions. The desire and ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment are essential.\n\nWhat youโll do\n\n\n* Own our IT Procurement function, working with stakeholders across the organization to purchase hardware and software that meets their needs. \n\n* Create and maintain tools like dashboards to understand data around sourcing, logistics, value, and cost analysis to help us grow sustainably. \n\n* Identify and investigate opportunities for continuous improvement and ways to leverage automation. \n\n* Perform market and industry trend analysis for key contracts and applications, and develop strategies for efficient and effective purchasing. \n\n* Develop forecasts based on future costs and staffing levels to help us plan effectively for the future.\n\n* Own our contract review and negotiation process, making sure our needs are met and that we are getting the best deal possible. \n\n* Manage our hardware inventory and develop necessary plans to continuously optimize our processes to increase operational efficiency and improve service to our team. \n\n* Work closely with IT Operations to develop standards and processes for IT Hardware deployment and lifecycle management globally. \n\n\n\n\nQualifications\n\n\n* 7+ years in an IT Procurement role with increasing levels of responsibility\n\n* Expertise in project management\n\n* Experience delivering creative, long-term solutions to technical problems\n\n* Comprehensive knowledge of procurement and inventory best practices\n\n* Strong dedication to creating an amazing employee service experience\n\n* Experience analyzing contracts and working with a legal team to ensure compliance with company policies\n\n* Experience implementing and owning an asset management system and automating processes\n\n* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail\n\n* Passion for technology, driven to keep up with the latest trends\n\n* Understanding of data analysis, visualization and reporting\n\n* Excellent written and verbal communication skills\n\n* Collaborative and team-oriented\n\n\n\n\nSalary Range\n\nNew York City: the pay range for this role is $158,500 to $218,000 per year. \n\nThis role will also be eligible for equity and benefits. Actual base pay will be determined based on permissible factors such as transferable skills, work experience, market demands, and primary work location.
