This role can be based in London or Liverpool (Hybrid)\nOverview\nWe are searching for a highly-skilled and self-motivated Senior Staff Software Engineer to join our expanding global team. The work will involve backend (Java, Spring Boot) and front-end (JavaScript, ExtJS) development.\nMain Responsibilities\n\n\n* Design, develop and test new features for web applications.\n\n* Develop internal RESTful APIs and integrate with remote APIs.\n\n* Collaborate with internal team and stakeholders on functional requirements.\n\n* Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing software.\n\n\n\nRequirements\n\n\n* BS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.\n\n* Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in software development with a focus on Java and JavaScript.\n\n* Advanced knowledge of Java and extensive experience with Spring Boot are necessary.\n\n* Experience with JavaScript front-end frameworks and libraries.\n\n* Proficient with SQL database design, implementation and optimization.\n\n* Experience with Java ORMs (e.g. Hibernate Envers).\n\n* Experience with Docker and a solid understanding of containerization principles.\n\n* Advanced proficiency with Linux.\n\n* Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes and management tools such as Jira.\n\n* Ability to work independently and as part of a globally distributed team.\n\n* Nice to have experience with the Sencha ExtJS framework.\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
