Remote Security Engineer
\nYour Role:\nTenable is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to support demos and evaluations of enterprise opportunities across the territory. Assist in developing business value propositions around Tenable's products and solutions. Drives sales with technical expertise, account management skills, sales ability and a superior customer focus. Participates as part of a sales team to achieve or exceed revenue targets.\nYour Opportunity:\n* \nDeliver technical presentations and demos of Tenable Enterprise products\n* \nManage enterprise software trials and "Proof of Concept" evaluations\n* \nAnswer technical questions and provide consultative security & compliance expertise\n* \nUse technical skills to demonstrate to potential customers how and why to use Tenable products\n* \nExecute "Proof of Concept" evaluations of Tenable products against customer requirements\n* \nMaintain current customer relationship and develop new ones\n* \nPotentially help identify and develop new product concepts\n* \nProvide status reports including trends in territory, upcoming events, follow-up and adherence to goals\n\n\nWhat You'll Need:\n* \nExperience with securing modern cloud computing infrastructures such as AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.\n* \nExperienced in DevOps and Cloud Security tools\n* \nKnowledge of Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or other cloud automation tools\n* \nStrong understanding of designing and architecting security in the cloud\n* \nUnderstanding how to craft a tailored demo vs delivering a canned demo\n* \nEngage with large clients to architect solutions that best meet needs including offering best practice recommendations, on-the-fly solution suggestions and relevant lines of questioning that may not have been prepared in advance of the conversation\n* \nSkill and confidence in leading discussions from a deep technical level to the executive level\n* \nA strong self-starter attitude and determination to win\n* \nSolid teamwork skills, teamwork is everything at Tenable\n* \nSolid Interpersonal “smarts”\n\n\nAnd Ideally:\n* \nPrior experience working in a cloud security-related technical pre-sales role\n* \nKnowledge of Cloud-specific Compliance & Governance standards and industry best practices\n* \nKubernetes knowledge\n* \nBS in Computer Science or related field, 8-10 years of direct SE experience\n* \nCloud Service Provider certifications\n* \nCISSP, GIAC, CEH, or other security-related certifications\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
