Remote Program Manager
\nThis role is open to being 100% remote within Canada while our home office is located in Toronto, Ontario. You may be required to travel to Toronto once per quarter for team and/or company events.\n\nWho You'll Be Joining\n\nWe’re looking for a Senior Program Manager to join our team to accelerate the delivery of exciting new software and hardware products to our customers. You’ll work with a cross functional team of engineers, designers, researchers, and product managers to turn product concepts into reality.\n\nOur team is focused on innovating new products and features that deliver value to millions of homeowners across North America.\n\nHow You’ll Make an Impact:\n\nAs a Program Manager at ecobee, you will:\n\n\nHelp ecobee standardize processes and procedures for efficient delivery\n\nDevelop, communicate, and maintain program roadmaps\n\nHelp hold the team accountable to program timelines\n\nEffectively prioritize and execute on program outcomes\n\nHelp plan and coordinate employee and customer field trials in collaboration with the Product and Research teams\n\nPartner with program leadership team to manage risks, and share status updates to ecobee's leadership team\n\nCoordinate activities across multiple teams\n\n\n\n\nWhat You’ll Bring to the Table: \n\n\nYou have previous experience in an intermediate-level Program/Project Management role that's required you to work across multiple business units\n\n3+ years of experience working directly with software engineering teams\n\nBonus: This experience includes projects with hardware and firmware elements\n\nYou have worked with project management tools like Jira, Confluence, or Smartsheet\n\nYou have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal\n\nYou are comfortable in a highly technical environment and can understand the nuances of technical decisions\n\nYou thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and high stakes environment\n\nExperience establishing new processes that are sustainable for the team\n\nYou are a smart, curious, and analytical person with a bias for action\n\n\n\n\nJust so you know: The hired candidate will be required to complete a background check.\n\nWhat happens after you apply:\n\nApplication review.
