In this role you will be primarily working in Golang and/or NodeJS languages on existing code bases or creating new services as required.\nResponsibilities\n\n\nBuild robust and scalable server side services and REST APIs in Golang and/or NodeJS.\n\nHelp improve our code quality through writing unit and functional tests, improving coding standards and performing code reviews.\n\nWork with frontend engineers to help them integrate the backend business logic and REST APIs with client side software.\n\nParticipate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to improve our product and technology.\n\nWork with the product and design teams to understand business goals, end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and then translate that into a pragmatic and effective technical solution.\n\nDocument decisions and its future impacts. \n\nCreate and improve technical documentation.\n\nJoin sprints and scrum calls with our cross-regional team for successful delivery of product.\n\nGuide and mentor junior developers.\n\n\n\n\nRequirements/Skills\n\n\n5+ years of recent coding experience in writing Golang and/or NodeJS software.\n\nExperience working with NoSQL databases like MongoDB.\n\nSolid software design knowledge – you should know how to create software that’s extensible, reusable and meets desired architectural objectives.\n\nPassionate about solving complex problems and take pride in their code and development standards.\n\nEffective communication skills: Regularly achieve consensus with peers, and provide clear status updates.\n\nAbility to work independently and in a team environment.\n\n\n\n\n\nBonus Skills\n\n\nFamiliarity with blockchain and web3 technologies.\n\nCan write Solidity smart contracts\n\nAble to write code in Rust\n\nKnowledge of frontend languages/full stack.\n\n\n\nCompany Values\n\nThinking in possibilities: We realize that most see the world in terms of what is not possible.
