\n\n\nThe Animation Supervisor will oversee the quality of the animation, ensuring it aligns with the project's goals and maintaining consistent performances by casting the right animators for the job. Additionally, they will ensure that creative aspirations and production needs are fulfilled, necessitating negotiations with both departments to achieve the optimal outcome for the production's success.\n\n \n\nWhat youโll be doing:\n\n\n* Demonstrates a grasp of various factors including performance, style, quality, continuity, technical requirements, scheduling, and budget constraints\n\n* Review, provide oversight, give feedback and approve all animation work before it is submitted to the Sequence Director for a later final approval from the Director.\n\n* Lead the animation team with the help of the Animation Lead.\n\n* Work closely with the Director and Production team to develop the overall animation style and vision for the film.\n\n* Provide creative guidance and feedback to animators and ensure that all animation is of a high standard and consistent with the established style and vision for the film.\n\n* Foster Collaboration with other departments, including Storyboarding, Layout, and Compositing, to ensure a seamless animation pipeline.\n\n* Review and approve all animation work before it is submitted to the Director for final approval.\n\n* Help to recruit and train new animators as needed.\n\n\n\n\n \n\nWhat youโll bring:\n\n\n* 5+ years experience in a Supervisor role or 10+ years of experience in a Lead position.\n\n* 15+ years in the field of CG animation production, preferably fully animated or hybrid feature films\n\n* Supplementary experience in computer modeling and character rigging.\n\n* Proven proficiency in the following areas: animation, rigging, sketching, or drawing skills.\n\n* A solid and comprehensive understanding of Maya.\n\n* Exceptional grasp of form, arrangement, bodily movement, mass, and equilibrium\n\n* Fundamental comprehension of classic animation.\n\n* Proficiency in capturing and conveying the character's performance and personality to the animated figures.\n\n* Superb abilities in both creative and technical communication\n\n* Guide and inspire a team during dynamic and stressful situations\n\n* Foster a positive atmosphere on the production and encourage effective communication and collaboration\n\n* Display outstanding communication proficiency when providing constructive input to artists regarding individual shots and sequences\n\n* Maintain composure in the frequently demanding, high-pressure, and politically charged landscape of film production\n\n\n\n\n
