As early employees at Blend, they spent years together focused on creating modern cloud infrastructure for banks. Now, with Vesta, they are transforming the mortgage industry by creating the most flexible, open and automated origination experience, benefiting financial institutions and their customers.\n\n\nAnd, we're not alone.\n\n\nWe've raised $55M from top tier investors, including Andreessen Horowitz, Bain Capital Ventures, Conversion Capital, Zigg Capital, and Index Ventures. \n\n\nWe believe that our team is our greatest competitive advantage and take pride in having a team of exceptional humans. You are comfortable navigating APIs, webhooks, and XML, and you arenโ€™t afraid to learn more.\n\n\nYou are passionate about solving customer problems in order to help them achieve their goals. You can deeply empathize with user pain points and questions (perhaps because youโ€™ve experienced them before yourself).\n\n\nYou are curious, persistent, and like problem-solving! You like to get to the โ€œwhyโ€ and wonโ€™t stop until you figure it out. Complex problems are your favorite, and youโ€™re willing to dig deep to get to a solution.\n\n\nYou're looking to join an early-stage team to build something BIG, something industry-changing, and youโ€™re excited about being part of that quickly-moving, fast-growing journey.\n\n\nAs a bonus, you might have some experience working within or around the mortgage industry, navigating and working with mortgage technology systems, ideally on the business process, or technical/IT side.\n\n\nAbout the role: \nAs one of our first support specialists at Vesta, youโ€™ll work closely with our customers to guide them on our product, troubleshoot and escalate issues to our product and engineering teams, all to ultimately make our customers successful. MoonPay is hiring a

Remote Senior Fullstack Engineer

\nAbout MoonPay ๐ŸŒ–๐Ÿ’ธ\n\n\nHi, weโ€™re MoonPay. Weโ€™re here to onboard the world to Web3.\n\n\nWhy? Because we think Web3 is a unique and democratising technology. It gives people back control of their money, digital identity, data, and property like nothing else before it.\n\n\nWhat we do\nWeโ€™re the leading infrastructure company in Web3. This means we offer our partners everything from payment solutions (we call them 'Ramps') to minting software for digital collectibles, like NFTs. And over 30 million people around the world now trust our products โ€” just take a look on Trustpilot.\n\n\nWeโ€™re also big on collaborations. And we've worked on stunts, drops, and partnerships with some of the world's most prestigious and forward-thinking brands.\n\n\nBut thatโ€™s not all. We have also built our own consumer app because we wanted to see if we could build a better Web3 account. Itโ€™s taken off in a big way, and we're working hard to continually improve it and to strive for perfection.\n\n\nSo whatever your background, weโ€™re sure thereโ€™s something for you here. Come help us build the future of Web3 and digital ownership.\n\n\nOur engineering discipline builds the technology that enables MoonPay to learn quickly and scale easily. We currently have squads across Crypto / Payments / KYC / Core Product and others. Weโ€™re pragmatic and believe in having a fluid structure; this means people can find opportunities in different domains or go deeper into a particular domain\n\n\n\nWhat you will doโ€ฆ\n* Architect and develop new and existing products and features on monetization.\n* Work with the head of monetization, other data scientists, and engineers to implement new experimentation and algorithmic pricing features across RAMPs, DeFi Trading, and Swaps.\n* Collaborate with other product teams to deliver and improve customer-facing features.\n* Contribute to the estimations, planning, and execution of projects, features, and integrations.\n* Integrate and work closely with external service providers that we use to power our services.\n* Maintain and improve our existing codebase.\n* Write fully tested, high-quality, performant code.\n\n\n\nAbout You ๐Ÿ™‹\n* Extensive full-stack engineering experience at leading startups or fast-growing tech companies, ideally from marketplace or platform-type businesses where algorithmic pricing and AB testing were heavily used.\n* Experience working on projects involving pricing, promotions, rewards, and/or loyalty programs with backend and frontend technologies.\n* Experience building experimentation platforms and infrastructure for algorithmic pricing solutions. \n* You know how to leverage continuous delivery for it.\n* Confident in developing, releasing and maintaining server applications in a fast paced, iterative environment where we work as a team, and not in silos.\n* Experience with our tech stack, or confident you can cross-train and up-skill quickly. \n* Have a deep understanding of database structures and system design\n* Hold Cloud native experience with Google Cloud or similar e.g. AWS, Azure.\n* Bonus points if you make open-source contributions or have experience in web3.\n\n\n\nWhat you will be working withโ€ฆ\n* Typescript as our programming language of choice \n* Node.js as our backend platform\n* Google Cloud Platform to host our services\n* Git/GitHub for code collaboration\n* Launch Darkly for feature flags and experimentation\n* Data Dog for logs, real-time alerting and monitoring\n* Argo CD for deployments\n* Redis for caching\n* React as our web frontend\n* Big bonus points if you also have some working experience with React Native\n* GenAI tools such as Cursor\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMost importantly, though, you will embody the core principles that everyone here at the MoonPay lives by. Our โ€œBLOCK Valuesโ€ are at the heart of everything we do - and they areโ€ฆ\n\n\nB - Be Hungry\nL - Level Up\nO - Own It\nC - Crypto Curious\nK - Kaizen\n\n\nMoonPay Perks\nEquity package ๐Ÿ“ˆ\nUnlimited holidays ๐Ÿ\nPaid parental leave ๐Ÿผ\nAnnual training budget ๐Ÿ’ป\nHome office setup allowance ๐Ÿช‘\nMonthly budget to spend on our products ๐Ÿ’ฐ\nWorking in a disruptive and fast-growing industry where the possibilities are endless ๐Ÿš€\nFreedom, autonomy and responsibility ๐Ÿ’ช\n\n\nResearch has shown that women are less likely than men to apply for this role if they do not have experience in 100% of these areas. Please know that this list is indicative, and that we would still love to hear from you even if you feel that you are only a 75% match. Skills can be learnt, diversity cannot.\n\n\nPlease let us know if you require any accommodations for the interview process, and weโ€™ll do our best to provide assistance. \n\n\nCommitment To Diversity\nAt MoonPay we believe that every voice matters. We strive to create a mindful and respectful environment where everyone can bring their authentic self to work, and experience a culture that is free of harassment, racism, and discrimination. Thatโ€™s why we are committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace and are a proud equal opportunity employer. We prohibit discrimination and harassment of any kind based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, protected veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law. This policy applies to all employment practices within our organization, including, but not limited to, hiring, recruiting, promotion, termination, layoff, and leave of absence.\nMoonPay is also committed to providing reasonable accommodations in our job application procedures for qualified individuals with disabilities. If you receive an email - claiming to be from MoonPay - but from an email address ending in anything other than @moonpay.com, please be aware that this is not us. \n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to Web3, Crypto, React, Testing, Cloud, Senior, Engineer and Backend jobs that are similar:\n\n $67,500 — $97,500/year\n

Ro is hiring a

Remote Staff Cloud Security Engineer

\nRo is a direct-to-patient healthcare company with a mission of helping patients achieve their health goals by delivering the easiest, most effective care possible. Ro is the only company to offer nationwide telehealth, labs, and pharmacy services. This is enabled by Ro's vertically integrated platform that helps patients achieve their goals through a convenient, end-to-end healthcare experience spanning from diagnosis, to delivery of medication, to ongoing care. Since 2017, Ro has helped millions of patients in nearly every single county in the United States, including 98% of primary care deserts.\n\n\nThe healthcare system today is not designed to help patients achieve their goals. Itโ€™s designed around institutions such as hospitals and insurance companies. A patient centric healthcare system is one that is designed around the goals a patient wants to achieve. Weโ€™re building healthcare that puts patients in control, provides reactive and proactive care, has transparent pricing and process, is extremely effective and ridiculously convenient, and evolves over time based on patientsโ€™ goals.\n\n\nRo has been recognized as a Fortune Best Workplace in New York and Health Care for four consecutive years (2021-2024). In 2023, Ro was also named Best Workplace for Parents for the third year in a row. In 2022, Ro was listed as a CNBC Disruptor 50. \n\n\nThe Cloud Security function at Ro is dedicated to protecting the security and privacy of our patients by continually raising the security bar across our cloud environments. We achieve this by collaborating closely with engineers and leaders across Roโ€™s platform, data, and product teams, devising, implementing, and communicating a well-rounded approach to security. In this role, youโ€™ll have direct influence on strategic initiatives, providing the engineering expertise necessary to make confident, scalable, secure, and privacy-respecting decisionsโ€”all while employing a hands-on builder mindset to โ€œbuild it in.โ€\n\n\nThis role is a senior-level individual contributor position, where youโ€™ll serve as a hands-on technical expert, building internal products and infrastructure to protect Roโ€™s cloud security posture and meet compliance objectives. As a key member of the Product Security team, which comprises expertise in product security, cloud security, architecture, and privacy engineering, you will design and automate scalable architectures and tools. You will be the technical advocate for cloud security decisions, driving discussions and designs, and working closely with Roโ€™s infrastructure and engineering teams to make secure infrastructure solutions. You are an expert communicator and a kind, team player.\n\n\nYou will be working remotely, with quarterly travel to our NYC headquarters.\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat You'll Do:\n* Maintain and Operate Secure Cloud Infrastructure: Lead the ongoing maintenance and operation of secure cloud infrastructures, focusing on AWS and cloud-native technologies. Ensure environments are resilient, compliant, and secure through multi-layered protection strategies.\n* Cloud Native Application Protection: Secure applications built for cloud environments by automating security assessments, monitoring runtime environments, and integrating security practices into the development lifecycle. Focus on containers, serverless architectures, and virtual machines, adapting to emerging threats.\n* Cloud Workload and Data Protection: Implement robust security controls for cloud workloads and data, including containers, virtual machines, and serverless architectures. Protect against threats while maintaining performance and scalability, using encryption, data loss prevention, and access controls.\n* Kubernetes and Cloud Security Hardening: Lead security hardening across all cloud security layers, with a focus on Kubernetes clusters and cloud-native environments. Secure container runtimes, implement stringent network policies, manage secrets securely, and ensure resilience against attacks at scale.\n* Collaborate on Secure Platform Solutions: Partner with infrastructure, product security, security engineering, and engineering teams to design and implement secure platform solutions. Provide expertise in developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes, ensuring security is integrated throughout the development lifecycle.\n* Automation of Security Operations: Develop and deploy automation solutions to enhance security operations, reduce manual efforts, and ensure consistent security practices. Create reusable templates and modules for secure infrastructure to enable rapid, secure deployments.\n* Security Incident Response: Contribute to incident response efforts, including detection, analysis, containment, and recovery. Work with internal and external stakeholders to minimize the impact of incidents and prevent future occurrences.\n* Compliance, Risk Management, and Data Governance: Ensure cloud infrastructures comply with standards such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and HITRUST. Implement automated compliance checks, data governance practices, and reporting to maintain alignment with these frameworks and protect data integrity.\n* Technical Leadership and Mentorship: Act as a technical leader and mentor, promoting a security-first mindset. Guide best practices in cloud security and data protection, and integrate secure practices into the organizationโ€™s culture and processes.\n\n\n\nWhat You'll Bring:\n* 7+ years of experience in cloud security engineering and architecture, with advanced expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform\n* Deep understanding of cloud security principles and best practices, with proven experience in implementing and managing cloud-native security tools at scale\n* Extensive knowledge of fundamental security technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, IAM, encryption, and DLP\n* Expertise with key tooling: Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), Cloud Native Application Protection Platforms (CNAPPs), Cloud Workload Protection Platforms (CWPPs) and Data Security Posture Management (DSPM)\n* Expertise in securing and hardening cloud workloads, including containers, serverless architectures, and virtual machines, with a track record of enhancing security posture\n* Advanced experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Pulumi, and expertise in integrating security into CI/CD pipelines\n* High proficiency in programming or scripting languages for developing complex security automation solutions\n* Comprehensive understanding of cloud and network security, with experience in securing cloud architecture across multiple environments\n* Demonstrated ability to perform in-depth security reviews of SaaS product architecture and its supporting infrastructure, with a focus on driving improvements\n* Familiarity with and ability to implement compliance standards HIPAA, HITRUST, CIS, NIST 800-53 and others with a low-touch approach\n* Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product teams and developers, to drive a security-first culture, effect change across the organization and further the cloud security roadmap\n\n\n\nWe've Got You Covered: \n* Full medical, dental, and vision insurance + OneMedical membership\n* Healthcare and Dependent Care FSA\n* Commuter benefits\n* 401(k)\n* Flexible PTO\n* Fitness reimbursement\n* Paid maternity/parental leave \n* A never-ending supply of office snacks + coffee + tea\n* The cutest office dog youโ€™ve ever seen\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe target base salary for this position ranges from $200,000 to $245,000, in addition to a competitive equity and benefits package (as applicable). When determining compensation, we analyze and carefully consider several factors, including location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. These considerations may cause your compensation to vary.\n\n\nRo recognizes the power of in-person collaboration, while supporting the flexibility to work anywhere in the United States. For our Roโ€™ers in the tri-state (NY) area, you will join us at HQ on Tuesdays and Thursdays. For those outside of the tri-state area, you will be able to join in-person collaborations throughout the year (i.e., during team on-sites).\n\n\nAt Ro, we believe that our diverse perspectives are our biggest strengths โ€” and that embracing them will create real change in healthcare. As an equal opportunity employer, we provide equal opportunity in all aspects of employment, including recruiting, hiring, compensation, training and promotion, termination, and any other terms and conditions of employment without regard to race, ethnicity, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, familial status, age, disability and/or any other legally protected classification protected by federal, state, or local law.\n\n\nSee our California Privacy Policy here. \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to Design, SaaS, Travel, Cloud and Engineer jobs that are similar:\n\n $40,000 — $80,000/year\n

Hostaway is hiring a

Remote Principal Engineer Core Platform EMEA

\nNOTE: This is a FULLY remote role, but the candidate must be within the EMEA region to collaborate with their team, peers, and internal customers. You do not have to be in the specific country or city shown in this listing, but please only apply if you are physically based within the EMEA region.\n\n\nHostaway is the market-leading SaaS scale-up transforming the vacation rental industry. With innovative solutions and partnerships with giants like Airbnb, VRBO, and Booking, we're taking on the competition and winning. Leveraging our customer-centric core values, we consistently deliver results that encourage growth, learning, and innovation for our team, our customers, and the industry.\n\n\n\n\nAs a profitable and growing company, this role is necessitated by our continued growth. Check out more about our recent funding round of $365 million here.\nAbout the role\n\nOur platform powers a global customer base, handling millions of transactions, integrating with industry giants like Airbnb & Expedia, and driving the future of short term rental tech. With $365M recently invested, weโ€™re scaling fastโ€”breaking down our monolithic architecture, designing for next-level scalability, reliability, and innovation.\n\nAs Principal Engineer, you'll be at the heart of this transformation, shaping how our platform evolves to support hundreds of integrations, complex workflows, and a rapidly growing customer base. If solving deep complex engineering challenges at scale excites you, letโ€™s talk.\n\n\n* 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role\n* Expert-level proficiency in a Backend programming language, we use PHP.\n* Hands-on experience with completing the transition to microservices architectures and Domain-Driven Design\n* Strong understanding of both relational (MySQL) as well as no-SQL data stores (like DynamoDB or ElasticSearch), data modeling and optimization techniques\n* Knowledge of containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Fargate) and the associated ecosystem\n* Experience with event-streaming platforms like Kafka or Kinesis\n* Extensive experience with AWS services and cloud architecture\n* Proven track record of leading and mentoring cross-functional engineering teams\n* Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices\n* Solid understanding of software design patterns and architectural distributed computing principles\n* Experience with working in SaaS product companies\n\n\n\n\n\nNice to have skills for this role:\n\n* Experience with front-end engineering (e.g., ReactJS, NextJS, TailwindUI and similar)\n* Experience with performance monitoring and optimisation tools\n* Understanding of security best practices in web applications\n* Experience with scalability challenges in high-growth environments\n* Knowledge of machine learning and AI concepts\n* Experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)\n* The ability to exert Extreme Programming values & techniques to the team\n\n\n\n\n\nAn Average Day for a Principal Engineer\n\n* 10:00-10:15 Quick team stand-up, one of your team members seem to be working on a problem you worked on before, and offer to pair with them after the stand-up to support\n* 10:30-14:00 Pairing with one of your team members to work on a complex scalability issue together and grabbing a quick bite to re-fuel those pesky braincells in-between coding sessions!\n* 14:00-15:00 Doing a design session with the Product Manager and UX designer for a large upcoming feature that the team should pick up next week. You ask a lot of questions to drill down to the problem we are trying to solve, and suggest some easier solutions that require less effort for the team.\n* 15:00-16:00 The design session triggered some thoughts about other areas of the system that will be affected. Youโ€™re doing a quick dive in the affected areas of the code and find some technical debt that might affect the systemโ€™s scalability or reliability. You create a brief Jira ticket and tag the Product Manager to help get it prioritised and to ensure it is not forgotten. You also ping the ticket to one of the other domains' tech leads, as you recall them mentioning a similar problem existing in another domain team.\n* 16:00-16:30 Quick catch-up with the Engineering Manager on the teams delivery reliability and how you can help keep Work in Progress (WIP) and Pull Request (PR) review time to a minimum\n* 16:30-18:00 Talking about PRโ€™s, there are actually still a few open. You take the last part of the day to review your teams PRs. There are some great solutions offered, but one of the junior engineers introduced some code that is difficult to maintain and is lacking unit tests. You jump on a quick call with them to explain the issues and why it matters.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat we offer\n\nCompetitive Compensation: We offer competitive pay based on market rates in the country of the applicant.\n100% Remote: Enjoy the freedom to work from anywhere within your country of residenceโ€”be it a co-working space, your home office, or even your dining room table. The choice is yours. Just donโ€™t ask to work in our office (we donโ€™t have one).\nEquity: Every role in our company comes with valuable stock options in a fast-growing and profitable company. This ensures we all share in the companyโ€™s success.\nValues-Driven Leadership: Our Core Values are not just words weโ€™ve written to make us feel good. We leverage them daily when making strategic and tactical decisions.\nProfessional Growth: Our rapid growth offers unparalleled learning and development opportunities, along with a multitude of career advancement opportunities.\nAnnual Paid Leave: The specific amounts vary by country and are aligned with country and/or contract-specific norms.\nGeographic Specific Benefits: As an international employer, we offer different country-specific benefits such as Health Insurance and Pensions in countries where these perks are customary. The specifics depend on the country of the applicant.\nDynamic Team Culture: As a global company with team members in over 40 countries, our diverse and international culture fuels our innovation and creativity, providing a key pillar to our success (and making it a lot of fun to work here).\n\n\n\n\nThank you for your interest. If you apply for this role, you will receive an email from our Talent Acquisition team after your application has been reviewed alongside the qualifications for this role and the qualifications of others who have applied.\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to Design, SaaS, Cloud, Junior, Engineer and Backend jobs that are similar:\n\n $55,000 — $90,000/year\n
