The Senior Editor is a key editorial position, helping to build NPRs capacity for telling thoughtful, deeply reported stories. This role is part of a small, highly collaborative team that will often work cross-functionally with NPR reporters, NPRโs Investigations unit, freelancers, member stations, and other external storytellers. As Senior Editor, you will help review pitches and assign and execute stories for the Embedded podcast. You care about story structure, finding compelling characters, and sticking a landing.
