\nDepartment: Commercial \nReports to: Manager, New Store Openings\nLocation: North Vancouver, B.C.\n\n\nYour Opportunity at ARCโTERYX:\nAs the Program Manager, Innovation and New Retail Concepts, you will play a crucial part in developing and managing a Retail Pilot Program, supporting the successful implementation and optimization of new retail initiatives and ways of operating. The ideal candidate would have a strong background in retail operations, project management and a passion for driving both innovation and continuous improvement within the retail sector. You will partner with multiple teams and design a program to identify pilot projects, build project plans, measure impacts, and make recommendations on next steps. You will also understand and communicate the roadmap of future design changes impacting our stores. \n \nThis role is primarily based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. \n \nMeet Your Future Team:\nYour role on the Operational Solutions team is key to our organizationโs growth and business goals. The Operational Solutions team is in service of the business supporting our scalable store growth and achievement of our goals. Operational Solutions creates best-in-class guest experiences, supports overall retail operations, and creates processes that enable our business to operate effectively and scale for the future. You will be supporting by creating an operations program to unleash our retail teamsโ potential and build a high-performance culture.\n\n\n\n\n\nIf you were the Program Manager, Innovation and New Retail Concepts now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:\n* Collaborating with various partners to design and track all retail pilot projects, integrating them into the broader business strategy\n* Leading end-to-end execution of retail pilot projects from planning and launch to evaluation and refinement\n* Building detailed plans with retail partners to ensure seamless implementations while creating clarity and minimizing impacts to the store team \n* Monitoring and tracking pilot performance, using both observation and data-driven analysis to provide recommendations \n* Building and defining new operating principles based on pilot learnings\n* Developing strategies to scale the pilot to the store fleet\n* Partnering with the Retail Operations team to identify the ideal time and location for each project\n* Developing a tool to track future design changes, ensuring relevant cross-functional partners are informed\n\n\n\nHere are some of the things you could be working on in the future:\n* Conducting market research to identify emerging trends and technologies in the retail industry\n* Developing principles and standard programming for retail operations\n* Providing Project Management support on other Retail Store Projects, such and New Store Openings, Renovations and Decommissions\n* Reviewing and consolidating feedback from stores and communicating learnings to our Store Development team\n\n\n\nAre you our next Program Manager, Innovation and New Retail Concepts?\n* You have a degree or post-secondary education in business or operations\n* You have 5+ yearsโ experience in the retail operations or innovation industry\n* You have excellent interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization\n* You have excellent communication skills\n* You are able to analyze data and generate meaningful reports\n* You can multi-task, meet deadlines, and manage priorities working in a fast-paced environment\n* You have excellent project management skills\n* You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity\n* You are able to balance autonomy and collaboration\n* You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement\n* You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues, seeking the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions with an unwavering commitment to do what is right\n* Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it\n\n\n\n\n$80,000 - $100,000 a yearA reasonable estimate of thepay range is $80,000 - $100,000 CAD at the time of this posting.
