Our Payroll and Benefits Specialist will have direct impact on our organization by helping drive, scale and administrate our payroll and benefits strategy through continued growth.\n\nWhat youโll do\n\n\nProcess end-to-end payroll for our US and Canadian teams, including calculation and payment of bonuses and commissions\n\nLead the implementation of a new payroll and benefits admin system as we prepare for a PEO transition\n\nBuild internal payroll processes for scale, including streamlining timekeeping process for a large non-exempt workforce\n\nServe as the main point of contact and subject matter expert for payroll and benefits both for our internal team and with the company's external partners (benefits brokers, carriers, PEO, etc.)\n\nOwn benefits administration, including 401(k), and our companyโs annual open enrollment processes\n\nDevelop and manage regular payroll audits: timecards, benefit deductions, etc. \n\nPrepare and complete information for annual audits, required reporting, and tax filings\n\nTake a people-first approach to resolving employee payroll and benefits questions and concerns\n\n\n\n\nWho you are\n\n\nStrong experience running multi-state and international payroll in a complex business with both exempt and nonexempt employees and multiple entities\n\nKnowledgeable about state and federal regulations concerning all aspects of exempt and non-exempt payroll and benefits (vacation, overtime pay, retirement plans, health benefits eligibility, etc.)\n\nExperience with PEO transitions and payroll system implementation\n\nExperience managing payroll and timekeeping processes with a non-exempt employee population \n\nA critical thinker, who has worked in a fast-paced startup environment\n\nExceptional organization and attention to detail\n\n\n\n\nWhat you'll get\n\n\nCompetitive salary\n\nEquity ownership\n\nHealth, dental + vision insurance\n\n401K benefits\n\nUpward mobility and growth opportunities\n\nGenerous paid-time off, parental leave, and company wide holidays\n\nCitiBike membership, HealthAdvocate membership, One Medical membership, WageWorks commuter benefits, subsidized Class Pass membership\n\nDiscounted veterinary care for your loved ones\n\nAn opportunity to make a real impact on the people around you\n\nA collaborative group of people who live our core values and have your back\n\n\n\n\n
