\n\nThe Role\n\nThis role is a remote position based in Poland. This is a B2B contract position.\n\nOur Platform Engineers monitor and assess the entire software development lifecycle from source to production, collaborating with cross-functional teams to build a workflow that enables our software engineers to code and ship software quickly. \n\nAs a Platform Engineer at Capital on Tap, you will advance our platform and processes by investigating, testing, and designing improvements to keep the platform and infrastructure up-to-date and within industry standards. You will also be responsible for reducing cognitive load, toil, and automating manual processes by building and maintaining internal developer platforms that can be used in a self-service manner. \n\n \nWhat you'll be doing:\n\n\n* Building and managing Azure services and resources with a focus on performance, security, scalability and resiliency in mind\n\n* Creating and managing cloud infrastructure with Terraform and Pulumi\n\n* Working with the SRE team to refine, test, and automate the developer experience (CI/CD)\n\n* Supporting Platform services and tooling (TeamCity, Octopus, Azure DevOps & more to come)\n\n* Designing and improving CI/CD processes which include code quality testing, security scanning, load testing, and infrastructure validations\n\n* Being a subject matter expert for internal teams on infrastructure best practices, CI/CD processes, container orchestration, and cloud security\n\n* Managing monitoring for all cloud infrastructure that runs our platform, working with the SRE team to achieve 100% coverage\n\n\n\n\n \nWhat we are looking for:\n\n\n* Experience in one of Azure, AWS, or GCP\n\n* Proficiency in Powershell, Python, Bash, or another scripting language\n\n* Exposure to at least one CI/CD tool, preferably one of Azure DevOps, Octopus, Jenkins, or Harness.\n\n* Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform\n\n* Experience in Kubernetes or another containerisation tool such as Elastic Container Service (ECS), Service Fabric, or Nomad\n\n* Experience with Microsoft Windows Server, Ubuntu, and/or RedHat Linux\n\n* Working knowledge of agile methodology\n\n\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
