We are a product-led company with a very experienced and talented engineering team that you can exchange with and learn from.\n\nAs a Backend Engineer, you will take an active role in shaping a product made for engineers by engineers to evaluate engineers.\n\nIf you are driven by business impact and you love working on complex problems in a product that millions of software engineers use, this is for you !\n\nLocation: Poland (100% remote)\nYou need to be based in Poland to be considered for this position. \n\nWhat you will do.\n\n\n* Writing reusable, testable, production ready, observable and efficient code using Python\n\n* Designing and implementing low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications\n\n* Testing what you code and contributing to how it runs, is deployed, and scaled\n\n* Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic\n\n* Implementing security and data protection by design\n\n* Integrating of data storage solutions\n\n* Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation\n\n* Collaborating with the Product, Research and Design Teams in order to understand end user requirements for the implementation of new software features\n\n\n\n\nWho you are. \n\n\n* You have demonstrable experience as a Python Developer working for a Product-led/SaaS organization with good knowledge of Docker, Identity and Access Management, REST web services etc.\n\n* You have experience making changes to a large code base and understand the challenges of technical debt.\n\n* You are proficient in designing & developing Web Services (REST)\n\n* You enjoy getting involved in the product development cycle and making suggestions to improve the product and/or the development process\n\n* Good understanding of public cloud services and modes of operation (Preferably AWS), Django, Application Development and pushing products to the cloud\n\n* Strong understanding of modern software development best practices like Trunk Based Development, Continuous Delivery, TDD, etc.\n\n\n\n\nOur culture\n\nOur engineers enjoy a lot of autonomy and flexibility to do what they do best: solve problems.\n\nConcretely, this means that each of us takes ownership of their tasks and projects and are free to organise their time as they see fit.
