We are looking for a Lead Android Engineer to help us use the latest technology to build high quality products. Our current dev team consists of one fullstack, one back-end, one mobile and two front-end engineers. \n\n**Requirements**\n\nWe're looking for a technical back-end developer with strong architectural instincts, and knowledge of the following areas:\n* Java\n* IntelliJ\n* Dependency injection (we use Guice)\n* Relational database system (we use MySQL, Hibernate, Liquibase)\n* Cloud (we use Google App Engine)\n\n**Bonus skills:**\n* Security (HIPAA)\n* Devops\n* Full-stack/front-end: React with Flux/Redux\n\n**In addition we are looking for someone who:**\n* wants to help build a global social safety net on the Internet\n* thinks for themselves instead of copying others\n* is creative and bold in the face of any problem\n* is intellectually honest and have high integrity\n\n\nYou will receive both salary and equity compensation, health insurance, laptop, and during non-covid times we have three to four yearly gatherings where you will join us.
