Our goal on Growth Marketing is to engage with a global audience of prospective talent and to grow the affinity of Shopify as a top employer through full-funnel marketing campaigns.\n\nAs a member of the Employer Brand team, the Growth Marketing Manager will be responsible for ideating, designing, and conducting experiments across multiple digital platforms to optimize and inform our employer branding efforts globally. They will use creative, low-cost strategies to help Shopify build highly-focused talent pools and convert them into direct hires across various job disciplines.\n\nYou’ll help be responsible for our talent attraction pipeline across digital platforms. We’re looking for someone with a deep knowledge of digital marketing platforms that can develop, execute, analyze, and optimize to drive consistent measurable results.\n\n**In this role you will:**\n* Oversee the strategic planning, execution, and ongoing optimization of Shopify’s paid digital program for Employer Brand, including but not limited to Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, Reddit, Twitter, YouTube, and any other platform that may emerge\n* Collaborate with internal teams to improve overall marketing performance\n* Drive continuous team improvement and implementation of best practices through all paid channels\n* Leverage internal analytics platforms to analyze program delivery and assess market opportunities for scale/performance and feeling comfortable working with Developers/ Data Scientists when needed\n* Manage a series of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party data and segmentation initiatives in an effort to uncover and activate prospective candidates\n* Maintain tactical roadmaps including channel budgets, acquisition targets, channel goals and milestones to achieve targets\n \n**Qualifications:**\n* Experience building executing paid marketing campaigns and experiments at a high-growth company or agency\n* A deep understanding of digital platforms, analytics, ad execution, and analysis-based strategy building\n* Acquisition-focused paid social media experience across a number of channels\n* A proven track record in managing complex campaigns across different geographies and languages\n* Knowledge and experience with embedding and using marketing pixels to measure performance and build audiences based on behaviors\n* Ability to learn new industries quickly and apply this knowledge to online marketing initiatives (e.g. Tech professionals)\n* A self-starter mentality. You can take a concept from the ideation and research phase to the execution and analysis phase all on your own.\n* A strong collaborator. With billions of requests a day, we’re serving many millions of buyers and over 1 million sellers who will see your work within seconds – an important and incredibly rewarding responsibility. While Shop has its own services we have plenty of interactions and integrations with the Shopify core codebases. There is no red tape and we leverage this fact whenever it supports our goal of building high-quality products faster. We leverage seamless over-the-air updates to distribute internal testing of work in progress pull requests to thousands of staff users and ship production versions with server-side-controlled feature flags and end-user performance monitoring.
