SafetyWingย (YC W18) seeks anย Outreach Manager (YouTube)ย to support our growing Partnerships team and our network of Ambassadors with care and personalized attention as we scale the program.
Partnerships with affiliates and content creators have successfully supported the tremendous growth of SafetyWing since the launch of the Nomad Insurance product in 2019.
Our influencer program (the ambassador program) was created in-house and designed according to our unique values of authenticity and simplicity. As a result, it became the most strategic growth channel for Nomad Insurance, accounting for more than 35% of sales.
๐ป Your responsibilities will include
Identifying the best YouTube creators that could fit our affiliate program well.
Reaching out to these creators using genuine outreach/messaging.
Signing up ambassadors through 1:1 calls and pitch presentations.
Helping them create the first piece of content that includes SafetyWing products.
Monitoring the results from both the outreach efforts and the Ambassadorsโ successes.
Helping in finding creative ways to scale the acquisition of quality ambassadors for SafetyWing.

๐ป Your responsibilities will include
Taking full responsibility for ensuring the successful operation of the SafetyWing Remote Health Insurance API channel.
Collaborating closely with the platform sales team to identify and recommend new integration prospects, introducing new partners to the benefits of embedding SafetyWing insurance products.
Work closely with customer product teams to identify and qualify market-fit opportunities for integrating SafetyWing insurance products into platform partner offerings.
Utilizing your knowledge of APIs to promote and prioritize customer product requirements, working closely with the engineering team to ensure seamless integration.
๐งช We are looking for someone who
Has embedded products within other value propositions, preferably via APIs.
Has a background in selling integrated solutions to B2B service providers.
Has managed engineering resources or at least worked closely one-on-one with developers.
Ideally, has an engineering background and has worked directly with a proprietary codebase.
Has a good understanding of how intermediary platforms operate and what drives purchase decisions. Having experience from having built or had a leadership role in a freelancer platform would be a great advantage.
Has experience with product management and sales and has been responsible for performance of a product/channel.
Understands how to build and scale a revenue channel.

We are looking for a talented Sales Operations professional to help accelerate our growth through building tighter processes, creating efficiencies between our sales stack, and developing training for our fast-growing team. Build and lead a high-performing Sales Operations team focused on driving revenue and increasing close rates amongst sellers.ย
Identify key areas for improvement across sales org and implement training and process changes with measurable results.
Alongside the VP of Sales, develop a Sales Playbook and maintain a well-defined, efficient sales process. Develop distinct sales processes for newly formed SMB, Mid-Market, and Enterprise teams.ย
Own sales onboarding for Account Executives, Sales Development Representatives, and Sales Leaders.ย
Develop an ongoing insurance knowledge certification system for all sellers and build a competitor matrix to help us sell against competition.ย ย
Create efficiencies between sales stack (Close.io, Drift, Gong, AmpleMarket, zapier, Slack, GSuite) and document our full system.
Work closely with Product Managers to understand product positioning and messaging for upcoming releases, and train the sales team to prepare for product launches.
Alongside VP of Sales, identify key growth areas for current channels and strategize where budget should be directed to drive growth.
