All positions, unless otherwise specified, can be performed remotely (within the US) regardless of any specified location above. \nAbout the Job\n\nThe Director of Cloud Experience at Life360 will lead the transformation of our cloud operations into a life360 developer-centric ecosystem, emphasizing the creation of a seamless Developer Experience for utilizing Cloud as a Service (CaaS) capabilities for internal engineers. This role involves crafting state-of-the-art tooling, enabling robust cloud infrastructure solutions, and ensuring efficiency, cost optimization, compliance, alongside fostering a collaborative relationship with our cloud service provider AWS. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader adept in fast-paced environments, with a complete understanding of cloud technologies, a passion for developer advocacy, operational excellence, and a keen sense of financial and compliance standards. You enjoy engaging and helping internal cloud-users develop ever more quickly, safely and effectively using life360 cloud offering. As part of this you are listening, shaping and iterating on the Platform, Data and Ops roadmaps and technologies.\n\nThe US-based salary range for this position is $235,000 to $335,000. We take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining final salary – therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. You will collaborate closely with the Director of Ops to devise a cloud strategy that centers around developer needs, integrating business objectives with a focus on enhancing the developer experience, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
