Remote Director Manager Marketing

\nBiobot is looking for an experienced and passionate marketer to join our team. Weโ€™re a high-growth startup looking to accelerate our expansion within the healthcare industries. Weโ€™re looking for someone with a strong background in healthcare or life sciences, with prior roles on marketing teams at biotech, pharmaceutical, payer or provider focused technology and analytics companies or similar. In this role, you will be laser focused on pipeline growth and facilitating customer acquisition, overseeing all paid with strong connection to owned and organic marketing channels. The scope of the role requires an in-depth knowledge of the healthcare ecosystem and a history of creating compelling product and lead generation content (including one pagers, slide decks, eBooks, case studies, etc). Youโ€™ll also be familiar with omnichannel marketing approaches and leveraging a variety of campaign channels (paid search, paid social media, content syndication, and marketing automation platforms) to achieve results. An advanced knowledge of account-based marketing techniques and platforms is desirable. If you like working in a fast-paced environment that trusts subject matter experts, inspired by the power of wastewater-based epidemiology, and passionate about driving results then this role is for you.\n\n\nDay-to-day is a mix of hands-on digital marketing execution and high-level strategic planning. You will oversee three areas of focus โ€“ digital performance marketing (search (paid and organic), paid social, programmatic, lead generation campaigns etc.), account-based marketing, and marketing data and analytics.\n\n\nYou will be a self-starter that can identify opportunities and execute on seeing them to fruition. And youโ€™ll be a key cross-functional collaborator that connects the dots between sales, product, and SMEs to generate powerful content that converts and supports the sales process. \n\n\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities (What you will be doing): \n* Plan and develop compelling content pieces that align to strategic goals for education/awareness, lead generation, and lead nurture (ie. case studies, ROI calculators, white papers, slide decks).\n* Support the sales, executive, and product teams broadly with content creation and distribution. \n* Plan and execute on all paid and direct digital marketing channels, to deliver highly optimized digital marketing programs, all to achieve aggressive annual targets.\n* Deliver detailed and actionable insights and strategic recommendations, allowing the sales and business development teams to clearly understand what tactics and strategies are driving pipeline growth.\n* Plan, manage and optimize the marketing budget to ensure that we are driving an efficient spend and maximize our investments. They are effective communicators who can inspire and motivate teams to achieve and exceed client goals based on their deep understanding of the ins and outs of their clientsโ€™ businesses (not just digital). You can read the room and you can hold your own talking growth strategy, SEO, CRO, analytics and measurement with marketing managers and C-Level executives alike. We expect you to be both student and teacher; remaining eager to learn in our ever changing landscape, but ready to be a resource and mentor to anyone equally eager to learn.\n\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES  \n\nLeadership / Account Management\n\n\n* Maintaining a strong understanding of the holistic business for each client in their portfolio - with insights on their competitors, overarching business goals, engagements with other agency partners, performance priorities, etc.\n\n* Experience leading both Sales-led and Product-led B2B marketing campaigns\n\n* Proven success coordinating marketing and sales teams to drive quality traffic and leads\n\n* Orchestrating multi-discipline collaboration and implementation for flawless execution of full-funnel, cross-channel campaign strategy and activation. Serves as the holistic account leader responsible for managing client expectations and effectively setting Activation and Growth Services teams up for shared success.\n\n* Have the aptitude for elevating a clientโ€™s ambition in ways that allow us to over deliver and bring proactive growth orientated solutions. Possess the ability to identify business growth opportunities and develop strategic recommendations to support the growth of client relationships.\n\n* Maintaining a deep working knowledge of Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic and Non-Programmatic Digital media channels, platforms/partners and tactics, as well as a core understanding of growth Services (Data Sciences & Analytics, Creative, SEO/CRO). They should have a strategic perspective on how/when to utilize various channels and how they work together to help meet client business goals. \n\n* Staying up-to-date on all information disseminated across the agency from Activation, Growth Services, Technology and Operations to ensure their track is adopting best practices and testing recommendations prioritized by the agency.\n\n* Serving as a point of escalation for all clients within your portfolio - understanding when to step-in with a client, coach the team on any processes/next steps to mitigate issues, determine what ancillary services/teams should be pulled in, or navigate solutions with legal/finance, etc.\n\n* Managing all major deliverables and presentations for your client portfolio (executive presentations, FBRs/QBRs, annual review, in-person strategy meetings, etc) to ensure activation teams across the board (media and growth) are delivering high-quality, innovative strategy - with a consistent storyline to push the clientโ€™s business and goals forward.\n\n* Ensuring successful onboarding of all new clients within your track - overseeing initial overarching strategy, account management/collaboration process is set up for success, and client interactions and performance are off to a healthy start.\n\n* Successfully scaling layers of management and ensuring career pathing/goals are being established for every member of your team. \n\n\n\n\nStrategy & Planning\n\n\n* Be able to design and/or speak expertly to full funnel media and data driven strategies, across Paid, Owned and Earned.\n\n* Steer the creation of consumer journeys, holistic communication plans and corresponding media and messaging strategies; from setting objectives & KPIs, audience sizing, profiling, targeting, determining media channel mix and potential tactics/partners, budget setting to measurement frameworks\n\n* Understand first-party data to elevate strategic opportunities\n\n* Continually monitor current marketing trends, new technology solutions, and competitors\n\n* Experience using insights from data to tell a story\n\n* Participate in new business development and other growth opportunities.\n\n\n\n\nQUALIFICATIONS   \n\n\n* 8+ years of experience in client-facing roles with cross-channel, digital media planning and activation contexts, with a minimum 5 years of experience directly leading client relationships and managing accounts at an agency; or equivalent experience on client side.\n\n* Proven prior work experience managing a team of 3+ direct reports / team members and demonstrated ability to mentor and develop direct reports into more senior roles\n\n* Natural, proven leadership instincts that your team will want to follow, and your clients will implicitly trust. Track marketing budget to evaluate efficacy of spend. Recommend marketing mix and channel/program optimization.\n\n* Lead the vision for our marketing technology roadmap - audit and evaluate our marketing technology stack, including automation capabilities, lead processing, measurement and reporting.\n\n* Own marketing database strategy and data requests (e.g. segmentation, list creation).\n\n* Own and manage campaign operations; including email and newsletter sends, audience segmentation, landing page creation, webinar ops, program integrations, list uploads and lead flow management\n\n* Own the Email Marketing channel and manage the email send calendar to optimize the marketing touches\n\n* Work with marketing, revenue operations, performance marketing and sales leaders to actively monitor, analyze, measure and report the health of marketing contributions to pipeline, revenue and retention with a focus on ROI.\n\n* Lead and execute the vision for marketing analytics, defining the measurement framework, including key KPIs and funnel metrics that provide actionable insights to the management team. Segment experience is a plus.\n\n\n\n\n\n* Experience working with tools such as Goldcast, ON24, Drift, Chilipiper, 6sense, Pathfactory, Splash, Unbounce, ZoomInfo, TechTarget\n\n* Expertise in web analytics (Google Analytics), A/B and multivariate testing tools, content management systems (Wordpress), technical and content SEO, web QA and domain/url management\n\n* Understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript, UX/UI design, digital design languages, digital ADA compliance, web optimization\n\n* Oversaw the launch of at least one B2B website \n\n* Experience managing direct reports or contractors\n\n* Willing to be hands on in daily operations when needed\n\n* Your own unique talents!
