Working closely with Engineering and Product Management teams, you will develop software components that will materially impact customerโ€™s and Kongโ€™s business and contribute to complex product integration efforts as we continue to develop our suite of products. \n\n\n\nWhat you'll do:\n* Implement and maintain services that power Konnect. Examples include identity, search, and provisioning.\n* Design and implement solutions to technical problems of moderate complexity.\n* Support those services in production by participating in an on-call rotation.\n* Write automated tests to ensure behavior of code and avoid regressions.\n* Mentor other team members.\n* And any additional tasks required by manager.\n\n\n\nWhat you'll bring: \n* 5+ years working in a team to develop, deliver, and maintain complex software solutions.\n* Expertise in Typescript and JavaScript. \n* Experience designing, prototyping, building and debugging microservices architectures and distributed systems.\n* Experience developing and supporting a large scale SaaS platform.\n* Expertise in designing and writing APIs, and a firm grasp of API lifecycle management.\n* Expertise with data modeling in relational and no-SQL databases.\n* Working knowledge of containerization and Kubernetes.\n* Understanding of and development with git and GitHub workflows.\n* Expertise in test-driven development and automated testing.\n* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nKong has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets.
