\nServer/DevOps engineer\n\nLocation : Brussels or any other EU country\n\nWorking model : On-site or Remote\n\nDuration: Long term\n\nDescription of tasks\n\nIn the context of the EUSS (End-user Support Services) contract with the European Commission, we are looking for a new colleague to reinforce the current DevOps team. development of user oriented tools to facilitate the treatment of various IT requests (password reset, software install, etc : mainly in C#/.NET development). \n\n\n* Development of automation scripts on server side to automate repetitive IT support tasks\n\n* Development of C#/.NET tools to facilitate user requests management\n\n* Using the tools\n\n\n* Jira\n\n* Bitbucket\n\n* Bamboo\n\n* Selenium\n\n* Appium testing\n\n* Fortify\n\n* Dynatrace\n\n\n\n\n\n* Maintain/adapt (in case of infrastructure changes) the current script/applications developed by the DevOps team.\n\n* Maintain system documentation, Support procedures and rota/cover arrangements.\n\n\n\n\nKey requirements:\n\n\n* \n\n\n\n\n\n* \n\n\n\n\n\n* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft C# and Microsoft .NET\n\n* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerShell\n\n* Service and proactive Minded\n\n* Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly\n\n* Excellent written & verbal skills in English\n\n* Punctual, meticulous, autonomous and reliable\n\n* Analytical and systematic approach to problem solving\n\n* Ability to troubleshoot in complex environments and quickly identify root cause\n\n* Attention to detail\n\n\n\n\nDesired qualifications:\n\n\n* Microsoft certifications, including MSCE, etc.\n\n* Basic knowledge of SQL/Oracle\n\n* Basic knowledge/Experience with Skype for business, Exchange and MDM infrastructure management is an asset\n\n* Experience with Splunk is an asset\n\n* Previous experience in 2nd/3rd line support is an asset\n\n* Experience working with Agile methodology is an asset\n\n* College degree or 5+ yearsโ experience in complex IT environments\n\n\n\n\nThe following documents / procedures will be requested to successfully complete the hiring process :\n\n\n* A copy of your university degree(s)\n\n* A copy of your criminal record\n\n* Security Clearance Procedure\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
