Listen to a podcast with an Application Engineer who drives customer success!\n\nJoin us and help make a real difference!\n\nWhat you will be doing in this position:\n\n\nCommunicate with our customers regularly to provide technical guidance, assistance, and prototype proof-of-concept projects.\n\nProvide onsite and/or remote technical training, configuration/code review, architecture and design guidance, and debugging of complex distributed systems.\n\nTriage customer issues and find timely solutions both onsite and remotely.\n\nAlways learning about RTI's technology as well as customer use cases and technology frameworks.\n\nShare your experience and knowledge with other RTI teams to contribute to company growth.\n\nEnsure customer success with RTI’s technology.\n\nPlease note: This position is technical, but you will not be developing a product.\n\n\n\n\nRequirements:\n\n\nDegree in Computer Science, EE/CE, or equivalent work experience in a related field.\n\n5+ years of relevant work experience.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\n\nAbility to present your ideas to an audience.\n\nProgramming fundamentals in any language.\n\nDriven and engaged in continuous learning.\n\nInterested in working directly with customers to ensure their success.\n\nPositive, proactive, and results oriented when solving problems.\n\nExceptional team player who collaborates well but also comfortable working independently in a deadline driven environment.\n\nMust be willing to travel onsite to work with our customers.\n\nSolid understanding of operating systems and networking fundamentals.\n\nExperience writing and debugging code in C, C++, and/or Java.\n\nExcellent debugging skills in a wide variety of technologies, networking protocols, operating systems and programming languages.\n\nExperience with middleware and/or other messaging technologies (e.g. Apache Kafka, MQTT, etc).
