Remote Marketplace Strategy & Operations Lead
\nAbout this role\n\nWe’re looking for a Strategy & Operations Lead to drive critical initiatives across Marketplace Ops functions - including Brand Operations, Marketplace Quality, and Trust and Safety. As a member of the Marketplace Ops team, you will drive strategic, analytical, and operational projects and implement processes and programs with the goal of improving the experience and performance of brands and retailers on Faire. Your scope will range from establishing the initial strategy to being responsible for the execution and outcomes of programs. You will work closely with Marketplace Ops team leads and other cross-functional leaders to ensure we are building a scalable, high quality marketplace for our brands and retailers, alike. \n\nThis is an ideal role for someone who wants to work as a high-impact individual contributor within a functional area and have the opportunity to lead projects from strategy to execution to ongoing implementation and iteration.\n\nWhat you’ll do \n\n\n* Design and build foundations for a variety of “0-1” workstreams across the Marketplace Ops function, such as piloting new operating models for our brand onboarding experience, building human in the loop programs, or developing strategic frameworks for how we make policies at Faire. \n\n* Drive strategic, analytical and operational projects and be responsible for the execution, monitoring & ongoing implementation of scalable operational programs and processes\n\n* Lead cross-functional initiatives and strategy with key stakeholders to ensure success of team and joint company goals\n\n\n\n\nQualifications\n\n\n* A Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience in strategy and operations roles at high-growth companies (ideally in a dual sided marketplace business), with some background in consulting, finance, or business operations preferred but not required\n\n* Experience in fast-paced, ambiguous environments driving projects from strategy through implementation; happy to roll up your sleeves to get any job done\n\n* Highly analytical and data driven -- can drive complex analyses and translate into key actionable insights; can manage projects to KPIs and metrics\n\n* Ability to work cross-functionally with Data Science, Product, Engineering, Sales, Brand Management, and Business Operations teams to achieve business objectives\n\n* Excellent written and verbal communicator \n\n* Intermediate to advanced SQL capabilities\n\n\n\n\nSalary Range\n\nCalifornia / New York: the pay range for this role is $147,000 - $202,000 per year. \nColorado / Washington / New Jersey: the pay range for this role is $132,000 - $181,500 per year.\n\nThis role will also be eligible for equity and benefits. Actual base pay will be determined based on permissible factors such as transferable skills, work experience, market demands, and primary work location. The base pay range provided is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
