What youโll do\n\n\n* Work closely with the Chief IP Counsel and other IP attorneys and patent agents to support implementation of Scout Motorโs IP strategies\n\n* Help develop, implement, and maintain docketing processes, procedures and policies for invention disclosures, patents, patent applications, and trademark applications including daily or periodic clearance of workflow\n\n* Assist in maintaining docketing system for invention disclosures, patent applications, patents, and trademarks\n\n* Generate regular status reports for business teams for patent and trademark assets\n\n* Help prepare patent committee meeting agendas; obtain, assemble and distribute meeting materials\n\n* Assist in administration of inventor awards program\n\n* Assist in-house legal counsel in managing non-disclosure agreement drafting and review\n\n* Provide general administrative support (proofread legal documents, make recommendations)\n\n* Provide support in IP due diligence for corporate transactions, mergers, and acquisitions\n\n* Help manage outside counsel and other external resources, including tracking projects, costs and expenses\n\n* Support the legal team in developing and delivering training programs for employees on legal matters and compliance\n\n\n\n\nLocation & Travel Expectations: The responsibilities of this role require attendance at in-person meetings and events regularly.
