Full Stack Web Dev Intern (~6 Hours a Day) - Learn from an Innovative Growth Team \n\nFresh Prints is an NYC-based custom apparel startup. We ๏ฌnd incredible students and give them the working capital, training, and support to build the business at their schools. We have 400+ students who will contribute significantly to our revenue in the next 12 months. We develop, host, and operate a custom-built OMS and a client-facing application. \n\nWhat new unique value propositions can we create through tech? How do we develop additional revenue channels? Increase operational efficiency? How do we usher in the next stage at Fresh Prints? \n\nThose are the questions the members of our cross-functional Growth Team work on every day. They do so not as developers, designers, or marketers, but as entrepreneurs, determined to drive the business forward. \n\nYouโll touch every component of the product development process. Youโll work with our developers, UX/UI designers, and QA team to understand users, scope out new tech, prioritize features, set timelines, and write great code. \n\nThis is a hands on internship and we expect you to learn to work at the same level as our full time developers. Great interns will be offered full time positions at the end of their term. \n\nTech Stack and Process \n\n\nAgile development process that revolves around sprints and specโing to make sure weโre coding efficiently. Moving towards TDD with automated unit testing. \n\nAngular 12, NodeJS, MySQL, and AWS mean devs are working on a modern tech stack\n\nReligious use of Jira, Bitbucket, and daily meetings keep things organized \n\nRegular UX/UI reviews, code reviews, and SonarCloud mean devs give and get tons of feedback so that the quality of our code is constantly improving \n\nTech stack and process are still rapidly evolving and the team is very open to changes that make us stronger \n\n\n\n\nRequirements \n\n\nCurrently a student and on track to graduate in the spring of 2023 \n\nBasic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript \n\nComfort with Angular and NodeJS is a big plus \n\nHave studied object-oriented and functional programming\n\n* Perfect English fluency\n\n\n\n\nResponsibilities \n\n\nEngage in high-level conversations about business strategy and the role tech plays in it \n\nWrite well-designed, testable, and efficient code that powers our application \n\nWrite specs and do planning for everything we build \n\nConduct application analysis, testing, and debugging \n\nDiligently document code to keep it clean and transparent \n\nEnsure cross-browser and device compatibility\n\n\n\n\nYou Are \n\n\n* Proactive.
