As the Financial Reporting Manager, you will manage the external financial reporting process, intercompany and consolidations, accounting for Fender Digital, and other complex accounting topics such as equity-based awards and leases. Additionally, you will play a key role in technical accounting research and the preparation of memos to support conclusions reached. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in general accounting and US GAAP, strong analytical and problem-solving ability. The ideal candidate will have the aptitude to lead, motivate and recognize a team of accountants. The Financial Reporting Manager will report to the Director, Accounting and have two direct reports. \nAbout the job:\n\n* Prepare monthly and quarterly bank financial statements\n\n* Lead year-end financial reporting process, including preparation of audited financial statements\n\n* Assist in external audit\n\n* Manage intercompany and consolidation process, including review of month-end close journal entries\n\n* Review journal entries, reconciliations, and perform other month-end financial close duties related to equity-based awards and Fender Digital\n\n* Assist with technical accounting research and memos to ensure compliance with GAAP\n\n* Lead accounting staff including daily coaching, goal setting, performance reviews, providing verbal and written feedback\n\n* Work closely with international Accounting teams and other cross functional departments\n\n\n\nWhat you need:\n\n* 5+ years of progressive accounting experience or 2+ years public accounting experience\n\n* CPA designation required\n\n* Bachelors or master’s degree in finance or accounting\n\n* Proficiency in technical accounting research\n\n* Self-motivated with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills\n\n* Strong writing skills and experience with memos and workpaper documentation\n\n* Excellent oral communication skills\n\n* Working experience using a large ERP system, SAP preferred\n\n* Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
