Remote Education Sales Account Manager AV Industry

You will hunt new business opportunities and direct a large list of K12 and University accounts. To thrive in this position, you will have to be result-oriented, experienced in EdTech sales within AV.\n\nHeadquartered in Copenhagen, with colleagues across the US and Europe, we pride ourselves on strong company culture and collaborative working spirit.\n\n\n\nThe Role in detail\n\nAs we expand our footprint in the education sector, we are looking for an Education Sales expert to join our team, focusing on Education Sales within the East Territory. This role is ideal for candidates at an intermediate career stage who are driving sales and have demonstrated success in managing accounts within the education sector and are ready to advance their careers.\n\nIn this role, you will play a pivotal role in building new relationships with educational institutions in the East Territory and driving revenue growth. Leveraging your combined expertise in inside sales and field sales, you will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and nurturing leads, as well as managing existing accounts. \n\nAdditionally, you will collaborate with channel partners to develop joint sales strategies and expand Airtame's reach in the education market. This role will require approximately 70% remote work and 30% travel within the designated territory.\n\n\n\nResponsibilities\n\n\n* \n\nIdentifying and pursuing new customers (this is the main part of the role).\n\n\n* \n\nQualify new leads through proactive prospecting efforts, including partner engagement, email outreach, and networking events.\n\n\n* \n\nDevelop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed revenue targets within the Education sector in the East Territory.\n\n\n* \n\nBuild and maintain a robust sales pipeline within a specific region in the EDU vertical (K12 & HiEd).\n\n\n* \n\nWork with our Channel Managers to increase channel revenue and add resellers to your geography.\n\n\n* \n\nMeet or exceed personal revenue targets.\n\n\n* \n\nSupervise numerous accounts concurrently & strategically grow them.\n\n\n* \n\nCreate compelling value propositions for Airtame services for EDU Customers and Channel Partners.\n\n\n* \n\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including IT administrators, educators, and department heads, within educational institutions.\n\n\n* \n\nConduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the benefits of Airtameโs solutions, addressing customer needs and objections effectively.\n\n\n* \n\nWork closely with channel partners to identify sales opportunities, qualify leads, and drive revenue growth through effective pipeline management.\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\nTo be successful in this role, you have:\n\n\n* \n\n3 - 7 years+ of combined experience in EDU Sales, encompassing both inside sales and field sales.\n\n\n* \n\nExperience from the AV industry, selling HW solutions. Additional experience selling SW is a plus.\n\n\n* \n\nProven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.\n\n\n* \n\nExcellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.\n\n\n* Experience working in a channel sales organization with a proven track record of building and managing successful partner relationships.\n\n* \n\nAbility to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.\n\n\n* \n\nYou are located in the EST timezone and have the ability to travel within the East Territory as needed (between 25%-40% of the time).\n\n\n* You are legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.\n\n\n\n\n \n\nCompensation and Benefits Package\n\nThe compensation structure for this role includes a base salary + commission, ensuring that your efforts and achievements are well-compensated.
