In this role, you'll collaborate closely with artists, designers, tech artists, and engineers to create the most astonishingly lifelike WWE Superstars ever seen in a game. You'll be responsible for not only recreating the incredible likenesses of Superstars but also designing a wide range of costumes, accessories, and hairstyles. Together, we'll continue developing the best wrestling game ever made.\n\nWWE2K is an exciting and ambitious game franchise with a diverse set of features and requirements. You will grow and develop in many different areas, learning from a highly skilled team while working on ground breaking technology. We are open to candidates from all industries who have a passion for games. A list of qualifications is provided below, but please do not hesitate to apply if you donโt meet 100% of the qualifications.\n \nWhat You Will Do:\n\n\n* Build and model UVs, and texture characters using Maya, Substance Painter, Photoshop, and ZBrush\n\n* Use our toolset to create and maintain bodies, attires, and hair\n\n* Follow a PBR-compliant workflow to build textures and materials\n\n* Take ownership of characters from the style-guide phase to final in-game approval\n\n* Troubleshoot character-related issues\n\n* Collaborate closely with tech art, production, and engineering teams\n\n* Develop extensive knowledge of our software and systems\n\n* Provide feedback to outsource vendors\n\n* Ensure timely delivery under production constraints\n\n\n\n \nWho Will Be a Great Fit:\n\n\n* 2+ years of experience as a character modeler\n\n* Proficiency in Maya, Substance Painter, Photoshop, and ZBrush\n\n* A self-starter with a passion for learning and strong problem-solving skills\n\n* Solid understanding of anatomy and game engine limitations\n\n* Ability to take direction, work independently, and contribute in a team environment\n\n* Passionate about video games (not just ours!)\n\n\n\n \nMight Be Nice:\n\n\n* Experience with Flow Production Tracker, Perforce, Jira, or Marvelous Designer\n\n* Skills in rigging, geometry deformations, and Grooming workflows (x-gen)\n\n* Hyper-realistic likeness face sculpting from photo and video references\n\n* Understanding of the end-to-end game production process\n\n\n\nTo learn more about Visual Concepts and our studio locations, check out our website at www.vcentertainment.com\n \n#li-remote \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
