Be a member of a growing team of talented engineers and designers and play a major role in shaping an exciting app thatโs changing how people travel and think about car ownership.\n\nLearn more about our Engineering team here: https://www.beforeyouapply.com/team/engineering-at-turo\n\nWhat you will do:\n\n\nUse the latest technologies to enable a first-class experience for a consumer marketplace. e.g. SpringBoot/Hibernate, JUnit, Mokito, Github, MySQL, GraphQL, Docker, msvc & monolithic architectures, Kotlin \n\nProduce high-quality maintainable code, test it, collaboratively review it, and ship it.\n\nCollaborate extensively with product managers, designers, and engineers to develop product features that drive our metrics.\n\nWork efficiently in a constantly changing and growing environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are desired.\n\n\n\n\nYour profile:\n\n\nYou are a strong communicator; explaining technical concepts and trade-offs to product managers, designers, and engineers is exciting to you.\n\nYou enjoy solving problems and helping others meet their goals.\n\nYour education has honed strong computer science fundamental skills in software engineering, data structures, algorithms, database concepts, distributed systems and search, and youโre ready to take those skills to the next level, building software in a professional setting.\n\n\n\n\nBonus if you have:\n\n\nFluent in at least one language - e.g., Java, Kotlin, Python, Ruby, Go, or C\n\nBachelor's/Masterโs degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field\n\n\n\n\nThe SF base salary target range for this full-time position is $114,000-$143,000 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
