Scout Motors Internship Program\n\nWe will provide aspiring professionals with a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with our talented, inclusive, and entrepreneurial teams. Undergraduate Interns will immerse themselves in the EV landscape, gaining exposure to the latest trends, technologies, and market dynamics. Interns will be assigned meaningful projects aligned with Scout’s goals. These projects will challenge interns to apply their academic knowledge in real-world scenarios, fostering problem-solving skills and creativity while working under the mentorship of our leaders.\n\nThis program is designed for current undergraduate students who live in our local market. Please note that no housing stipend is provided. \n2024 Internship Program Overview\n\n\nSchedule: The program is anticipated to run mid-May to mid-August 2024\n\nDuration: Our internship program runs approximately 12 weeks, with the official end date varying dependent upon student needs and the start of respective Fall academic calendars\n\nTransportation + Housing: our Interns will be responsible for providing their own housing and transportation\n\n\n\n\nImportant Notes: \n\n\n* \n\n\n* Scout Motors will not provide relocation or sponsorship as part of our Internship program\n\n* High preference for currently enrolled Juniors or Seniors majoring in Marketing, Communications, or a similar field\n\n* Deadline: applications for the program must be received no later than March 8, 2024. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLocation & Travel Expectations: This role is on-site, and will be based out of our Scout Motors location in Novi, MI. The responsibilities of this role require attendance at in-person meetings and events regularly. \n\nHousing & Sponsorship: Scout Motors does not provide visa sponsorship or housing assistance for internship positions.\nAbout the team\n\nThe Product Marketing team is responsible for capturing the attention of America through the positioning, pricing, and go-to-market planning of Scout Motors’ future offering. As a startup, we are responsible for building a company while simultaneously defining these vehicles.\nDaily Responsibilities of the Internship Program include\n\n\n* This person will wholly own and build a project in the product marketing space to support the Director of Product Marketing\n\n* Shadow meetings with key stakeholders and leadership to understand the objectives and goals of the team\n\n* Use data and analytics to create compelling reports to support product marketing initiatives\n\n* Work cross functionally with various teams at Scout including Growth and Communications organizations\n\n* Support the team with targeted marketing campaigns, events, and programs\n\n\n\n\nWhat you’ll bring \n\nWe expect all Scouts to have integrity, curiosity, resourcefulness, and strive to exhibit a positive attitude, as well as a growth mindset.
