You will partner with business leaders to set and achieve corporate goals. You will drive quantitative and qualitative analysis to inform strategic decisions and identify optimization opportunities. You will support corporate financial goals by driving forecast models and providing accurate guidance to our leaders and investors.\n\nThis role can be office-based in our San Francisco office or fully remote.\nIn this role, you will: \n\n\nPartner closely with leaders across our R&D Engineering teams to drive strategic decision-making, investment prioritization, and long-range planning\n\nDevelop COGS and operating expense forecast models \n\nSupport R&D organizational growth by providing resource allocation and growth models\n\nBuild and monitor KPIs to inspect business health and performance\n\nAnalyze financial results, prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting, and support operating review meetings with VPs and EVPs of Engineering, Product Management, and Finance\n\nBuild scalable processes and mechanisms to enhance financial visibility, control and planning effectiveness that supports the next wave of Samsaraโs growth\n\nChampion, role model, and embed Samsaraโs cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices \n\n\n\n\nMinimum requirements for the role:\n\n\n3+ years of experience in Corporate Finance and/or Investment Banking\n\nUndergraduate degree in finance / economics / accounting / mathematics \n\nStrong financial modeling and analysis capabilities\n\nAbility to work collaboratively and cross-functionally \n\nStrong communication and presentation skills; comfortable presenting to senior management\n\n\n\n\nAn ideal candidate also has:\n\n\nExperience partnering with engineering teams\n\nUnderstanding of resource planning for engineering teams\n\nWillingness and ability to build new financial processes and mechanisms\n\nAbility to thrive in a fast-growing environment with high degrees of ambiguity\n\n\n\n\n#LI-Remote \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
