This person will be working with all the co-founders, reporting to our Director of Professional Operations and will play a critical role in the company’s success. \n\nKey responsibilities :\n\nEstate settlement processing\n\n\nDraft estate settlement documents;\n\nAct as the single point of contact to executors with other professionals (notary, lawyers, tax accountants, etc); \n\nAssist clients through difficult times;\n\nSupport executor duties with key forms to be filled and submitted;\n\nProbate & estate administration support;\n\nCommunicate with government agencies and financial institutions; \n\nPerform legal research;\n\nAssist in asset evaluation;\n\nCollaborate with other members of the team and assist with research, client requests and other related tasks, when needed. \n\n\n\n\nProduct and operations\n\n\nSupport the product team to build our estate settlement and estate planning product;\n\nAct as a Subject Matter Expert to the product team to improve the quality of the ClearEstate platform;\n\nTest functionalities and provide feedback to the product and development teams;\n\nCreate and use templates for communicating with various stakeholders.\n\n\n\n\nWhat we are looking for :\n\n\nCustomer success specialist; \n\nEstate professional with 2-4 years experience in Wills & Estate;\n\nSTEP certification in Estates and Trust administration an asset;\n\nStrong organizational skills;\n\nStrong research skills;\n\nGood communicator & interpersonal skills;\n\nAbility to manage client relationships;\n\nWillingness to embrace technology and disrupt the field of estate law\n\nFluent in French an asset\n\nIndependent and able to work with minimal supervision\n\nPassionate about technology. \n\n\n\n\n \n\nClearEstate respects individual differences and guarantees equal opportunities and inclusion.
