We are a modern company that puts people first. Our team is incredible, super talented, humble and we are 100% remote.\n\n**What will you be doing?**\n\nYou will be primarily be working in ReactJS on the frontend, Node on the API side (and C++ for video rendering if you are up for a challenge), to help us deliver more video / account features to our customers. Building a simple online video editor isn’t always so simple, so you might work on WebGL, API, DevOps or Architecture stuff. You don't need to know it all, but someone who is not scared of a challenge\n- Be able to contribute to the culture of engineering excellence by writing better documentation, teaching more junior teammates or improving processes around engineering in general\n- Experience working with video is a bonus\n\n\n \n\nBe sure to mention the word **EXQUISITELY** when applying to show you read the job post completely. ## Who we are\n\nTeamflow is a virtual office helping remote workers feel like a team again.\n\nIt shows your video in a bubble on a virtual office floor plan — you can move that bubble around, like in a video game, and only hear people around you.\n\nSo your team can hang out in this space, and when you want to chat with someone, you can just walk over to them and say hi, just like you would in real life — no more Zoom-scheduling nightmare.\n\nWe came out of stealth in January via [a blog post](https://www.teamflowhq.com/blog/announcing-teamflow-feel-like-a-team-again-with-your-own-virtual-office) and a [TechCrunch exclusive](https://techcrunch.com/2021/01/06/teamflow-lands-3-9-million-for-a-productive-virtual-hq-platform/), raised $50M from top VCs (including Menlo, Battery, Elad Gil, SV Angel, Lachy Groom, and Coatue), and started onboarding teams to a product we built in 3 months with a team of 6. \n\nWe all get along very well, morale runs high, and we're building extremely fast.\n\n## Our culture\n\n[Teamflow's Culture](https://www.notion.so/Teamflow-s-Culture-8f24be7f619a4e4aa7e93ba02d58cf4c)\n\n## Job Description\n\n- Mission\n - Ensure that people can hear and see each other on Teamflow at all times.\n- Responsibilities\n - Design, build and maintain our WebRTC systems.\n - Own A / V reliability end-to-end — define metrics to watch, monitor them, and develop plan to improve them.\n- Must-haves\n - 3+ years of experience as a software engineer.\n - 1+ year of experience with a frontend framework like React, Angular or Vue.\n - 1+ year of experience with WebRTC.\n- Nice-to-haves — experience with any of:\n - Node.js\n - GCP / AWS\n - Typescript\n - MongoDB\n- Competencies\n - Great communication skills\n - Hustle\n - Speed\n \n\n**Apply by emailing [email protected] with your résumé.** \n\nBe sure to mention the word **UPLIFTING** when applying to show you read the job post completely. This is a beta feature to avoid spam applicants. Companies can search these words to find applicants that read this and see they're human.\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n $80,000 — $160,000/year\n \n\n#Location\n🌏 Worldwide

Sona is hiring a
Remote Full Stack Engineer

80% of the global workforce is deskless, yet just 1% of all enterprise software funding is dedicated to serving these 2.7 billion people.\n\nAt Sona, our mission is to put cutting edge technology in the hands of every deskless employee to empower them to do their best work.\n\nWe’re a rapidly growing, VC-backed B2B SaaS startup founded in the summer of 2021. We are fully remote, with overlapping ‘office hours’ during the mornings (GMT). \n\nWe are strong believers in giving everyone the autonomy to do their best work, when and how they prefer. That means you’ll have a lot of flexibility and control over how to shape your job and work life, while getting all the support you need to succeed.\n\nWe take our health and mental health seriously, believing that we can only perform to our best when we are healthy and happy. That’s why we work 4.5 day weeks, with a flexible half day that you can use as you choose. \n\nYou can learn more about the team and what it’s like working at Sona [here](https://www.notion.so/getsona/Working-at-Sona-4e3c00206c414d8c9eb9b7a617cdc6d7)\n\n### About the role\nWe fundamentally believe that the best products are built when small, cross functional, autonomous teams are empowered to solve business problems as they see fit. You’ll be joining a pod which owns a particular area of the product and movement between product areas is encouraged and easy.\n\nEngineers are heavily involved throughout the product development process, inputting into the why and what as well as the how.\n\n*Our stack has two main components:*\n* A backend with a GraphQL API (for communicating with the Native App) and a web frontend built using Elixir and Phoenix Live View (the PETAL stack)\n* A native mobile application built in React Native + Typescript\n\nWe think in terms of “T Shaped” developers. This means that while all of us have some ability across the “full stack”, most of us have one side of the stack (e.g. Elixir or React Native) we’re stronger on and spend the bulk of our time on.\n\nWe’re passionate advocates of the Live View approach for building web applications and believe that it’s one of the biggest step changes in productivity and developer experience since Ruby on Rails.\n\nLikewise we strongly believe in the benefits of the common, typesafe Android and iOS codebase that React Native combined with Typescript and GraphQL gives us. \n\nTypically when somebody starts working with us, they have strong experience with one side of the stack and then learn the other part on the job.\n\n### How We Work\nOur [engineering principles](https://www.notion.so/getsona/Engineering-Team-Principles-b83ffe9620a645e5920529ad79928c66)give a flavour of how we like to work. We’re a fully remote team spread across 4 countries (and growing). We have a company stand up most mornings at 10:00 UK time. We aim to have fully paid for company meetups roughly once per quarter.\n\nEverything starts with talking to customers. We like everyone in the company to regularly join either sales calls with new prospects or catch ups with existing customers\n\nWe’re a small company with a strong preference for lightweight, asynchronous processes. \n\nWithin product we work in sprints with periodic retrospectives.\n\n### Interview Process\nOur hiring process follows this pattern:\n* Initial phone screen (30 minutes) focused primarily on approach to work, career goals and your questions about Sona\n* Technical Interview (1-2 hours) take us through a piece of code you're proud of and talk about how it's architected, what worked well and what you'd do differently if you wrote it again. If you don't have a suitable piece of code, we're also happy to pay you for half a days work to do a take home task. But we understand that everyone's busy so we'd much rather use some code you've already got where possible!\n* Founder Interview (1 hour), focused on why you’re interested in Sona and your questions about the vision\n\n### Requirements\nWe love engineers who have a non nonsense approach to “getting it shipped”, who when given the choice between “complicated and shiny” vs “get something simple in front of a user” will always choose the latter.\n\nEverybody’s different, but a lot of the following probably applies to you:\n* You have extensive professional experience in either React Native or Elixir\n* If your experience is in React Native you’re happy to talk about Typescript, the role of generics and when they should be used, how hooks changed how we build React Native apps and when one should consider writing custom hooks. You’d be equally happy explaining promises and how they interact with async / await.\n* If your experience is in Elixir you’re passionate about LiveView and are comfortable talking about it’s advantages and challenges\n* You have a strong preference towards taking ownership, making sure you’re clear on what you’re doing and why and then communicating progress over awaiting instruction\n* You’re in a country which is GMT +/- 3 and fluent communicating both verbally and in writing in English\n\n### Benefits\n* Competitive salary\n* 4.5 day standard working week\n* 37 days annual leave (25 days standard plus 12 flexible ‘bank holiday’ days)\n* Share options\n* Fully remote and flexible working\n* Co-working space stipend\n* Free mental health support (On-demand online therapy & coaching)\n* Quarterly all expenses paid team retreats\n* The latest Macbook and equipment for your home office\n* Professional development budget\n* Unlimited free books \n\nBe sure to mention the word **AWE** when applying to show you read the job post completely. This is a beta feature to avoid spam applicants. Companies can search these words to find applicants that read this and see they're human.\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n $90,000 — $120,000/year\n \n\n#Location\n🇪🇺 EU

Process Street is hiring a
Remote Staff Front End Engineer

*Who we are:\n\nProcess Street is a no-code workflow platform startup from San Francisco. We help our customers build, document, automate, and track recurring workflows. Our platform stores knowledge where the action happens, ensuring thorough and error free execution of workflows that our global customers run their businesses on. \n\nWe service over 3k customers around the world, such as Airbnb, Spotify. AstraZeneca and Accenture, and are VC-backed by Accel, Salesforce, and Atlassian.\n\nProcess Street was founded on a strong belief in the work-life benefits of a healthy, collaborative remote culture. We value flexibility because many of us are parents, travelers, or just creatives who aren't inspired by the construct of a mundane 9-to-5. Spread across 9 different time zones, we communicate asynchronously, work autonomously, and take real ownership of our work. \n\nIf you’re entrepreneurial and seek an environment that values your effective creativity, congratulations, you’ve found your new home!\n\n \n\nAbout You\n\n* You want agency. We practice the Shape Up process, and run 6-week cycles and 2-week cooldowns. For the 6-week cycles, PMs provide a problem statement and some guidelines – no tickets, no detailed specs, no hi-fidelity solutions, and no estimates. Designers and engineers are trusted to craft the best solution possible in the cycle using user research, data, experience, and grit. During the 2-week cooldowns, you have the autonomy to work on what's important to you – including code maintainability or making the team faster. If a lot of responsibility, freedom, and ambiguity sounds refreshing, this role is for you.\n* You're well-versed in JavaScript and React. Process Street is built on AngularJS, React, React Query, Redux, and Chakra UI. If you've hand-rolled JS micro-frontends or led the architecture of large React applications, you're an ideal candidate for this role.\n* You love to ship. We move fast. We deploy continuously behind feature flags, and release to customers at the end of every cycle. We utilize CI/CD and maintain ~70% test coverage.\n* You love process, but loathe meetings, bureaucracy, and ceremony. We think process is a tool. Used well, it makes us a better, faster team. But when it's not doing that, we drop it. We avoid unnecessary meetings whenever possible. A typical week for our engineers and designers has fewer than 5 hours of meetings.\n* You want to have a big impact. We're a small team and we're still early stage. We don't have designated areas of responsibility, and everyone wears the product hat. Every cycle brings new challenges, and your sphere of influence is wide. You love the variety and don't want to be shackled to a single project for years.\n* You have seven (7) or more years of experience in software development. We will hire in a range of levels for this position. So if the role excites you, and you have seven years of experience, but don't have the exact title listed here, you should apply.\n \n\nOur Benefits\n\n* Fully remote team – No offices, no commute, check-in from a destination of your choosing!\n* Unlimited PTO policy – Most take 3-4 weeks, plus their major holidays, AND a company-wide week off in December\n* Annual company offsite* (when not in a pandemic of course) In lieu of an offsite, we do encourage and sponsor small group meetups so that you can meet your teammates face to face around the world.\n* Social time – We know human connections are what make teams strong. We regularly do coffee chats, game-playing, story-telling, house tours (only if you're comfortable), and more to build connections.\n* Generous health insurance for US employees and their families\n* Equity for all full-time roles \n\nBe sure to mention the word **FAVORITED** when applying to show you read the job post completely. This is a beta feature to avoid spam applicants. Companies can search these words to find applicants that read this and see they're human.\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n $160,000 — $180,000/year\n \n\n#Location\n🌏 Worldwide

Hi, I’m Dani, a Silicon Valley entrepreneur.\n\nAlong with my business partner James, we’ve been on a mission to change the way people buy and sell online for over 9 years. We started Saily Inc, a company that developed one of the top-ranking secondhand shopping apps in the US with millions of downloads. The Saily team joined Mercari in 2018 to help take the company public at a $4 Billion valuation.\n\nIn 2019, we built Flyp, a technology company decentralizing online commerce. We started with an app that connects small businesses to professional sellers who sell their clothing inventory for them. Pros handle pricing, listing, negotiating with buyers, packing and shipping each item, then splitting profits.\n\nWe just started growing our engineering team to develop tools to empower our Pros. These are web-based tools involving web scraping, web automation, and Chrome extensions to help Pros grow their businesses.\n\nWe’re looking to hire full-stack engineers to be in charge of our tools (MERN tech stack). We value attitude over skills. We’re looking for someone to treat this startup as their own, have opinions, be involved in decision making, have a hacker mindset, and be result-driven. Flyp is hiring a
Remote Node. JS API Engineer

Hi, I’m Dani, an entrepreneur, and a tech author & speaker.\n\nAlong with my business partner James, we’ve been on a mission to change the way people buy and sell online for over 8 years. We started Saily, the first app to buy & sell used stuff in 2012. We grew it to 500,000+ users before joining Mercari, the giant mobile marketplace. There we led Product & Growth and IPO’ed in 2018. Six months ago, we built Flyp, an app that connects small businesses to professional sellers who sell their clothing inventory for them. Pros handle pricing, listing, negotiating with buyers, packing and shipping each item, then splitting profits.\n\nWe just started growing our backend team to develop tools to empower our resellers. These are web-based tools involving web scraping and Chrome extensions to enable cross-listing inventory & automating sales on websites like eBay & Poshmark. We’re looking to hire a third full-time backend engineer to be in charge of our tools (Node.js). We value attitude over skills. We’re looking for someone to treat this startup as their own, have opinions, be involved in decision making, have a hacker mindset, and be result-driven. Although we’re a remote-first startup, we make sure to have overlapping hours across the team to boost productivity.\n\n**Requirements:** Be in Europe, and have worked on web scraping before\n\n**Bonus:** If you've worked with Chrome extensions & web automation\n\n[https://www.daniarnaout.com/](https://www.daniarnaout.com/)\n\n[https://www.joinflyp.com/](https://www.joinflyp.com/) \n\nBe sure to mention the word **GRAND** when applying to show you read the job post completely. Pragmateam is hiring a
Remote Polyglot Software Engineer TDD XP JavaScript

\n\n* Full-time permanent role\n\n* Based remotely, from your home\n\n* Simple hiring process: 3 interviews + code exercise\n\n\n\n\nWrite code day-to-day and upskill those around you\n\nDo you enjoy coaching others and working with colleagues who help each other develop their skills every day? We partner with our clients to deliver projects and new product features every day, whilst helping to develop the skills, knowledge and capability of those around us in the team. You'll have the opportunity to work in Product Development teams in different domains, both greenfield products as well as evolving existing ones.\n\nWhy are we looking for polyglot developers? Well, we know everyone has their favourite language or framework, but we also know that it’s important to use the right tool/language/framework for the job at hand, and that a pragmatic approach might mean using a language that is already in production. Also, polyglot developers tend to focus on core software engineering principles and practices, rather than what is shiny in a new framework or language. So whilst we usually work with JavaScript it doesn’t mean we aren’t able to transfer our engineering skills and work with other languages when it makes sense.\n\nThrough regular Learning Lunches, Technical Brown Bags, Software Crafters Meetups, Start of Week meetings, Team Offsites and other social and community events, our team learns and collaborates together and is always sharing knowledge and helping each other, both within Pragmateam, clients and the community.\n\nTo be successful in this role you must have an open mind to sometimes work with a language that is not your usual one and most likely consider yourself a polyglot, ie. someone who is happy to learn new languages or further develop their skills if needed for the task at hand. You must also love developing the skills of other software engineers and helping them improve their craft and capability. The ability and passion to coach others and make things a little bit better is part of the job, so having the empathy and soft skills to do it is important.\n\nWhy it's good…\n\n\n* Opportunity to work across a variety of domains, with different problem spaces and technologies.\n\n* Able to share your knowledge and develop the skills of those around you, whilst writing code and learning every day.\n\n* Be a member of a cross-functional agile team delivering together end-to-end.\n\n* Working in a stable product team (ie. we don't like pure project work) provides a lot of job satisfaction as you are an integral part of the product development process.\n\n* We work in clients employing continuous delivery practices such as CI, automated testing and continuous deployment.\n\n* We prefer to work for medium or small product companies instead of large enterprises, as it's easier to be set up for success, have a positive impact and influence.\n\n* We choose our work and often say no, so people like the work that we do around here.\n\n* Education & Work From Home budget that you manage yourself: decide if you want to go to a conference, spend it all on books or dedicate yourself to an online training course, all while having a professional, productive and comfortable setup for when you're WFH\n\n* The 'team' in 'Pragmateam' does mean something: we are never by ourselves in clients so that we can support each other and deliver together.\n\n* We are curious and have a culture of continuous improvement so we are always keen to learn more and improve ourselves and Pragmateam.\n\n\n\n\nTo be successful in the role you’ll have the following skills:\n\n\n* Extensive commercial experience (usually 6+ years) in developing custom built web applications, ideally having worked with JavaScript and some of the usual (or unusual) Javascript frameworks such as React, Angular, VueJS or Node.js.\n\n* Solid experience working in teams that use XP practices (eg. CI, TDD, pairing, small releases).\n\n* Support and coach others as well as help teams improve and develop their capabilities, through pairing, Coding Dojos, Dev Guilds, Brown Bags, mentoring, influencing, 1-on-1's etc.\n\n* Experience across the full tech stack with an interest in developing software both backend and front end (a bias to one side is normal and totally fine).\n\n* Experience with TDD and the benefits of writing tests first before starting on your code.\n\n* Solid experience refactoring code, ability to describe different refactoring techniques.\n\n* Experience with Object Oriented programming and able to discuss design patterns.\n\n* Passion for writing Clean Code, so everyone in the team can understand it.\n\n* Awareness of distributed architectures and micro-services and interest to learn more.\n\n\n\n\nOur Recruitment Process\n\n* Phone interview (30-60 minutes)\n\n* Test Coverage exercise (2-3 hours)\n\n* Pairing + Tech Interview (60-90 minutes)\n\n* Management Interview (60 minutes)\n\n\n\nInterested? Apply below or you take a look further at Pragmateam here: https://pragma.team/ \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on previous jobs related to Developer, JavaScript and Engineer, Digital Nomad jobs that are similar:\n\n $60,000 — $110,375/year\n

As a result, renters are missing out on a critical wealth-building opportunity: owning a home.\n\nAt Divvy, we're building an on-ramp to homeownership – one that's more affordable, more flexible, and an overall better fit for the modern American family – and it’s working.\n\nAbout the role\nYou will be able to leverage your creativity and skill set to make homeownership more accessible and equitable. The engineering team builds tools to support our consumer, agent and administrative products. At Divvy, you’ll own some of your projects from start to finish, support your teammates on other projects, and work collectively to scale our platform to thousands of new applicants and multiple new markets. Almost every project will require cross functional collaboration across the entire home buying process. You will work alongside a team of 8 engineers, 2 product managers, 2 data scientists, and about 40 other Divvy employees working on different parts of the business.  \n\nEngineering Opportunities\nBuying thousands of homes a year requires effective and intelligent software. There are several different complex workflows that our software must support and each one presents us with its own unique set of nuances and challenges. Depending on your interests and career objectives, you will work towards solving challenges across three broad domains:\n\n1. Consumer experience - We want to make finding and buying your next home easier than renting. This involves building an intuitive application experience, nurturing the relationship between applicants and agents, recommending homes, and hand-holding the customer through the process.\n\n2. Data Intelligence - Given that we are a financial product, we need to ensure that we are selecting the right candidates into our program (those with a high likelihood of becoming homeowners), and pricing our offering as fairly and accurately as possible. You would work alongside our data-science team to productize models and leverage our datasets to reduce risk and build a more effective product.\n\n3. Scale - Our goal is to buy thousands of homes in the coming years. Buying a home involves considerable complexity, and we want to remove as much human touch from this as possible. We are building systems to automatically underwrite customers, generate competitive offers, thoroughly and thoughtfully inspect homes, support and service our tenants, and much more.\n\nCommitment to Diversity & Inclusion\n\nWe prioritize a commitment to diversity in our team building process. We enthusiastically encourage individuals from a variety of lived experiences to reach out. \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on previous jobs related to InfoSec, Engineer and DevOps, Executive, Full Stack, Developer, Digital Nomad, Design, Senior, Python, JavaScript, Data Science, DevOps jobs that are similar:\n\n $65,000 — $120,000/year\n
