About The Opportunity
The Principal Service Consultant guides the overall design and delivery of the Ceridian HCM solution to meet customer requirements and provides oversight and direction to project team members in the execution of project activities in all stages of the implementation lifecycle (planning, discovery, design, configuration, testing, deployment, post go-live support). The Technical Support Specialist - DACH (AKA Customer Support Engineer (CSE)) is responsible for responding to customer issues across our Wdesk and Wdata platforms.

Track each stage throughout its lifecycle and ensure critical information is shared among applicable team members and stakeholders.
Partner closely with stakeholders across Product, UX, Engineering and QA to define and drive timelines with critical path dependencies.
Ensure teams are delivering against the plan and work with the teams and/or the senior team member to raise concerns and hold teams accountable for actions.
Plan and schedule meetings as appropriate, work with teams to ensure key materials are prepared for productive meetings that drive results.
Work with project/program teams to get task, issue, and risk updates.
Articulate project/program status, provide actionable updates, speak to current risks, provide risk aversion plans and assist with updates.
Create or support senior team member in cascading communications and weekly status reports.
Support senior Team member in managing project/program budget aggregation for all participating teams
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field. Course work in project management
1 or more years of project or program management experience
Preferred Experience
2 or years of senior technology project specialist or coordinator experience
1 or more years of agile delivery
Experience working on or with a technology delivery or Product team
Experience with change management, business analysis, or process analysis
Experience with evolving project management and agile tools (JIRA, Version 1, Project, Air Table, Wiki, Slack, etc)

Role & Responsibilities

Support various stakeholders within the business from a technical perspective.
Create architecture requirements and recommendations

Improve product quality, security as well as performance.
Participate in design review sessions and peer code review
Mentor junior team members
Skills & Experience
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Excellent problem-solving skills
Object Oriented Programming experience
Demonstrated experience with Ruby, SQL, HTML, CSS
Self-starter and highly motivated individual.
