The internship will be approximately 4 months in duration. \n\n\n\nWhat you'll be doing:\n* Create trending and evergreen content for @wattpad’s global social channels, with a particular focus on Instagram and TikTok.\n* Ideate and pitch creative social post ideas that will aid in Wattpad’s brand awareness.\n* Bringing to life the character and spirit of our organization by portraying our beloved W Mascot in social media posts.\n* Plan content using project management tools and work with stakeholders to ensure they review and approve social posts on time.\n* Assist in executing social media marketing initiatives across Meta, TikTok, X, and Pinterest using social, marketing and product tools (e.g. Sprinklr, Asana, AppsFlyer, Canva, and native social media platforms).\n* Stay up-to-date on social trends, tools, and best practices in order to surface insights and learnings to help optimize content and engagement.\n\n\n\nWhat we're looking for:\n* A highly engaged Wattpadder! Monitor performance of key external service providers. Communicate to management service failures and help develop action plans to correct for future shipments. Monitor implementation of process improvements.
Identify, evaluate & implement opportunities to leverage L&P volumes with current service providers utilizing multiple business units.
Coordinate project analysis, bids, etc. for existing business units with existing or potential service providers.
Assist with new service provider set ups through SOP’s and required service provider documents.
Collaborate with Business unit Purchasing & Sales departments and Logistics offices as necessary to meet customer requirements
Develop & Incorporate KPI’s to monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement with freight forwarders, ocean carriers against benchmarks and service agreements to improve support for our business units. Report findings along with suggested improvement solutions on a quarterly basis.
Provide feedback updates regarding market details for air, ocean and intra Europe trucking to management & Business Units.
Work with Logistics systems, Accounting & other Logistics offices to ensure visibility & financial data integrity of shipments.
Report cost savings / cost avoidance opportunities to management.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Business Management, Operations Management, or related field, or suitable combination of education and training
5+ years’ experience in the transportation and logistics industry, including 2+ years in a management role
Analytical and data-driven mindset.
Experience with Microsoft Suite applications.

Engage is a non-profit organization based in Toronto, Ontario specializing in public policy advocacy for youth. Our focus is to provide youth with the means to deliver the reform they seek. When confronted with challenges, they don't withdraw, they engage. Our policy specialist plays an integral role in the organization by researching and compiling data to develop our reports for youth to act and engage.
Responsibilities
Accurately interpreting numerical data (i.e. census data)
Ability to organize and present data clearly
Aptitude to track and model how a research subject has changed over time
Qualifications
Ability to organize and present data clearly
Able to conduct policy analysis
Able to conduct demographic analysis
Capable of working independently and with a team
