Swiftly, Inc. is hiring a

Remote Account Executive

\nCompany Description\nSwiftly is on a mission to help cities move more efficiently. We are the leading transit data platform for agencies to share real-time passenger information, manage day-to-day operations, and improve service performance. Today, over 180 transit agencies in 11 countries โ€“ including LA Metro, MARTA, SEPTA, and MBTA โ€“ rely on Swiftly to improve on-time performance by up to 40% and increase passenger information accuracy by up to 50%. The result is better service reliability, increased ridership, and more efficient transit operations.\n\n\nSMB Sales at Swiftly\nOur SMB Account Executive team manages deals from start to finish for prospective and current customers in the public transit industry.\nWhile we expect Account Executives to own and drive all aspects of a deal, we also believe in working as a team to achieve success. Our SMB Account Executives are supported  by BDRs,  who will partner with you to develop effective account strategies and outreach campaigns, and a dedicated Scaled CSM to deliver long-term value and growth opportunities with existing customers. Additionally, you will have the support of a dedicated cross-functional leadership team that will collaborate with you on important deals and provide valuable coaching to help you succeed.\nThe AE team at Swiftly cares deeply about the problem weโ€™re solving. To ensure that we are making an impact throughout the sales process, we have implemented a value-driven sales methodology. You will receive training on the SPICED methodology, which is used by our GTM teams and serves as a blueprint for achieving sales targets.\n\n\nAbout the Role\nAs an SMB Account Executive, you will be responsible for leading and managing a successful territory plan. This involves thoroughly understanding the needs and challenges of our stakeholders, delivering effective platform demos, presenting compelling business cases that demonstrate measurable ROI, and ultimately convincing decision-makers that Swiftly can help achieve their desired organizational outcomes. In addition, you will guide your clients through procurement processes and manage Swiftly's internal responses to public solicitations for your territory, with the support of our internal procurement team.\n\n\nEven though Swiftly's HQ office is located in San Francisco, CA, we are open to candidates in most locations across the U.S. as well as Ontario and British Columbia, Canada. At this time we are unable to provide Visa sponsorship. This role will cover the Midwest of the United States, so Central Time Zone candidates are preferred. \n\n\n\nWhat you'll do\n* Build and manage a territory strategy that creates a realistic plan towards quota achievement\n* Prospect approximately 50-60% of your own pipeline by leveraging Salesforce CRM and Outreach.io. Tasks will include daily research, cold calling, sending email campaigns and using tools such as LinkedIn. \n* Conduct thorough discovery calls where you clearly identify the pain and needs of account stakeholders\n* Demonstrate Swiftlyโ€™s ability to solve problems and deliver desired business outcomes \n* Guide government agencies to approach old problems in new ways\n* Work public sector deals from discovery to close within a typical 3-8 month sales cycle for SMB \n* Work with your opportunity contacts to identify budget and determine a procurement path\n* Attend conferences and other events to deepen your industry knowledge, meet transit leaders, generate new sales opportunities, and accelerate deals\n* Accurately identify risk within deals by using the SPICED methodology and work with your leadership, internal partners and executives to mitigate those risks \n* Forecast deals appropriately using Swiftlyโ€™s forecast methodology \n* Achieve and exceed revenue goals.\n* Contribute to the winning environment by committing to your own self-development and supporting the development of your teammates\n\n\n\nAbout you\n* Our ideal candidate will have a background in B2B/B2G SaaS sales or equivalent experience. Bachelor's degree highly preferred. \n* 2+ years of SaaS sales experience \n* Proven success in closing new logo opportunities\n* Consistent track record of hitting goals\n* Demonstrated, proven success in relationship building, stakeholder management, pipeline management, prospecting, complex procurement mechanisms, contract negotiation and closing customers\n* The ability to build positive relationships and influence. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to be personable yet persistent\n* Experience leveraging Salesforce, Outreach.io, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn and/or comparable tools \n\n\n\n\n\n\n**FOR U.S. CANDIDATES ONLY:**\nIn accordance with pay transparency laws: the approximate total (base salary + any variable comp) salary range for this role is $95,000 to $135,000 on-target earnings (OTE) yearly. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Actual salaries will vary and are based on a multitude of non-discriminatory factors including final role leveling decisions, a candidateโ€™s relevant work experiences/skills, and geographic location within the United States. Note: salary ranges for non-U.S. candidates may be higher or lower than the U.S. numbers above depending on location. Salary is one component of Swiftlyโ€™s total compensation package, which also includes stock options, competitive benefits, 401(k) matching, a fantastic team and culture, the opportunity to have a huge impact, emphasis on professional growth and holistic wellness, and other perks.\n\n\nBeyond the Skills:\nWe are looking for candidates who are passionate about mobility, sustainability, or mission-oriented projects that have a significant real-world impact. Ideal candidates encompass the core values of our company:\nโ€ข Team. Together, we are more effective and better supported\nโ€ข Impact. Drive impact for our customers, our company, and all of our teams\nโ€ข Diversity. See differing perspectives as ways to address our weaknesses and find new strengths\nโ€ข Communication. Assume others internally and externally have good intentions\nโ€ข Feedback. We share feedback because we want each other to grow professionally and personally\nโ€ข Growth. As a fully distributed company, we consider these offsites important for cultivating strong relationships across our teams! Attending these in-person is expected and encouraged, although we understand everyone has different personal circumstances and we will consider requests for exceptions. Customer-facing team members and other specific roles may be expected to travel more frequently.\n\n\nWe are a truly mission-driven culture that is set to change the world of transit\n\n\nWe are an equal opportunity employer - we are committed to a workplace that is as dynamic, diverse, and passionate as the communities we serve.\n\n\nBecause we work with public agencies, we participate in E-Verify. \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to SaaS, Salesforce and Sales jobs that are similar:\n\n $50,000 — $75,000/year\n

StephTaylor.Co is hiring a

Remote Marketing Manager

We're a growing online education company for business owners, founded and led by Steph Taylor, a marketer and launch strategist. We're here to help our community build and grow businesses that are profitable and bring them so much joy. We value freedom and flexibility over hustle culture, we pride ourselves on taking imperfect action and we're always hungry to learn something new.

Until now, Steph has been hands-on in most areas of marketing the brand. But the business has grown and we're searching for a marketing all-rounder to join our canoe and help us paddle a bit faster.

Note: This role is part-time, but we're looking for someone who can grow with us. Depending on your availability and commitments outside of work, this could mean you eventually become full-time or it could mean we help you build a marketing team to support you as your workload increases. Choose your own adventure.

Some key areas you'd be working on include:

  • Growing podcast listenership: With more than 1.5 million downloads to date, Socialette podcast is by no means a small show. It's our primary channel for sharing free content thatโ€”to paraphrase one listenerโ€”changes lives. You will brainstorm podcast topics with Steph, plan the content calendar and use your marketing magic to get each episode in front of as many of the right people as possible.
  • Launching a new membership program: This one is still under wraps (shh!) but we're planning to open doors in early 2023. In your first few months with us, you will work closely with Steph to develop the launch strategy and execute the launch marketing campaign, including creating organic social content, and executing paid social and SEM campaigns.
  • Increasing sales of our self-paced courses: We have two courses that can be purchased and completed at any time, but we haven't had much time to market them. You will generate fresh ideas for marketing these products, measure and track the analytics, and spot opportunities to optimise every step of the sales funnel.
  • Executing launch campaigns for our cohort-based course: We have a 12-week course that we launch and run twice a year. You will be working year-round to grow our email list and social media audiences with the right people for this course. Twice per year, you will work closely with Steph on the launch strategy and campaign execution.
  • Building brand visibility: We operate in a crowded market. Social media is noisy. Paid traffic is becoming more and more expensive. Having a human as the face of our brand gives us an advantage, and part of your role is to help grow the visibility of the Steph Taylor brand. You will identify and pitch media opportunities, and spot potential partnerships and growth opportunities.

To succeed in this role, you must:

  • Have 3-5+ years of digital marketing experience, in roles where you've had exposure to both strategy and execution.
  • Be results-driven and passionate about growth. You approach everything with an "I wonder what will happen" mindset, and you're constantly measuring and improving as you go.
  • Have a sound understanding of what works (and what doesn't) in content marketing and email marketing.
  • Be able to write. Well.
  • Know how to create and manage campaigns using Facebook Ads and Google Ads, or be willing to learn.
  • Be willing to undertake training and courses (paid for by us) to continually improve your skills in the fast-moving online marketing space.
  • Thrive in an environment where you're working autonomously with a small, remote team. In other words, you're self-motivated and take ownership of your work.

This role is NOT for you if:

  • You are a freelancer or agency looking for another client. We want someone who is 100% dedicated to growing our business with us.
  • You're a business owner looking to earn an income while you're waiting for your business to take off.
  • You're not willing to roll your sleeves up and do what needs to be done. We're only a small team and, occasionally, we have to do work that's below our pay grade to get the job done.

Follow these exact steps to apply:

  1. Open the application form here: https://stephtaylorco.typeform.com/to/PCgq92y9 (or click the "Apply" button.
  2. Upload your resume and answer the application questions (please allow 30 minutes for this)

Any applications that are submitted outside of the above application form won't be accepted.

Please don't email us your resume.

You have been warned ๐Ÿ˜‰
