Remote DevOps Engineer
\nJob Summary:\n\nWe are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Azure Services, that will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure on the Azure platform.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n\n* Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure on the Azure platform.\n\n* Support CI/CD pipelines using GitOps (ArgoCD, Continuous Delivery tool).\n\n* Manage and optimize AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) clusters.\n\n* Provide infrastructure support for Azure Databricks, Data Factory, Azure SQL, and other relevant services.\n\n* Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for efficient provisioning and management.\n\n* Ensure effective monitoring and logging using Azure Monitor.\n\n* Implement and manage App Gateway/WAF and Storage Accounts.\n\n* Integrate Azure Active Directory (AAD) and OKTA for secure access control.\n\n* Champion a DevSecOps mindset, integrating security practices throughout the development lifecycle.\n\n* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployment and operation of applications and services.\n\n* Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in cloud computing and DevOps.\n\n\n\n\nQualifications and Skills:\n\n\n* Senior role with 5+ years of experience\n\n* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).\n\n* Previous experience in Data and/or Software Engineering is highly desirable\n\n* Proven experience working with Azure Cloud Services is a must.\n\n* Strong expertise in supporting CI/CD pipelines using GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or other Continuous Delivery tools.\n\n* In-depth knowledge of AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) and its management.\n\n* Strong experience with Azure Databricks, Data Factory, and Azure SQL infrastructure support.\n\n* Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.\n\n* Familiarity with Azure Monitor, App Gateway/WAF, and Storage Accounts.\n\n* Experience with integrating Azure Active Directory (AAD) and OKTA for access control is preferred.\n\n* Knowledge of DevSecOps principles and practices, and experience implementing them in projects.\n\n* Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tool SNYK is a plus.\n\n* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.\n\n* Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with cross-functional teams.\n\n\n\nWhy work for Launchpad?\n\n\n100% remote\n\nPeople first culture\n\nExcellent compensation in US Dollars\n\nHardware setup for working from home\n\nWork with global teams and prominent brands based in North America, Europe, and Asia\n\nTraining allowances\n\nPersonal time off (PTO) for vacations, study leave, personal time, etc.\n\n...and more!\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
