This is a remote position that can be done from anywhere in the world.\n\n\n\n\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES\n* Own the creation and delivery of our character models and pipelines.\n* Create high-quality models for players, creatures, bosses, and other in-game characters.\n* Work closely with our creative teams to shape the look and feel of our iconic game world.\n* Hold the quality bar high to ensure we deliver to “AAA” asset performance standards.\n* Contribute innovative and original ideas on all aspects of game production and development, providing constructive insight and feedback when needed.\n\n\n\nREQUIREMENTS\n* 3+ years minimum hands-on experience in the entertainment industry as a Character Artist.\n* Experience creating characters in at least two shipped “AAA” games.\n* Expertise in human and animal anatomy.\n* Experience with Maya/Max/Zbrush and Photoshop (or equivalent 3D and 2D programs).\n* Must love games!\n\n\n\nDESIRABLE\n* Familiarity with the Unreal Engine 4.\n* Experience creating stylized characters.\n* Experience with Substance Painter and Substance Designer or 3DCoat.\n* Experience working on a distributed team spread across several time zones.\n\n\n\nPORTFOLIO REQUIRED\n* Please include links to your demo reel and portfolio.\n* Must include Hard Surface Characters as well as Soft Body characters.\n* Must include at least 1 example of a stylized character.\n\n\n\nWHAT WE OFFER\n* Fully remote work, with a yearly company offsite. \n* Experience working with gaming veterans who’ve created titles with a gross aggregate revenue of over $10B USD.\n* Unlimited PTO\n* Experience creating a new IP with franchise potential.\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to Design, Crypto and Designer jobs that are similar:\n\n $40,000 — $70,000/year\n
