Remote Lead Engineer

**Responsibilities**\n* Be seen as a leader for a group of engineers working to quickly design, prototype and build new features\n* Lead code reviews and participate in design and architecture planning sessions\n* Take part in pair programming sessions and coach less experienced engineers\n* Partner with a product leader to shape the roadmap of your features and our platform as a whole\n* Help recruit and interview other engineers as our team grows\n* Be heads down coding 50% of the time \n\n# Requirements\n**About You**\n* Lead level engineering experience ideally with modern SaaS, eCommerce, and/or eMarketplace products\n* Deep experience with our stack or equivalent technologies\n* Proven ability to teach and coach others, ideally in an engineering related field\n* Experience with the agile product development process ideally in a leadership role\n* Experience working cross functionally with engineers, dev teams, sales, and marketing\n* Ability to represent the company in client discussions with professionalism and intelligence\n* Communication, leadership, team building, and people skills\n\n**The Technology**\n* HTML/CSS using Sass\n* Client side JavaScript using Vue (React experience is fine)\n* Server side JavaScript using and Node and Express\n* PostgreSQL and MongoDB\n* Experience with TDD\n* Experience creating and consuming REST APIs\n* Experience using payment gateways such as Stripe\n* Experience with e-commerce and CMS systems \n\Please mention the words **PULP IVORY GARDEN** when applying to show you read the job post completely.
