\nYou will develop and maintain simulation tools useful for testing software from integrated robotic teams and planning and execution team. You will create simulation models, set up a simulation and tune your solution:\n\n\n* Create URDF models based on hardware specifications (geometric as well as dynamic data).\n\n* Maintain models such that real robot physical effects are also present in simulation.\n\n* Contributes to the interfaces between the robot low-level (MCU) and high-level software.\n\n* Model communication bridge between robot low-level and high-level software for simulation.\n\n* Tune/tweak simulation for challenging cases such as contacts between bodies when gripper grabs an object.\n\n\n\n\nYou will work in a scrum-based agile development cycle. You will be working alongside founders, researchers, and engineers to design and build first-generation robotic solutions for mass consumer adoption.\n\nYou will be measured by simulation quality, quality of the models, ability to communicate with other IRT (Integrated Robotic Teams).\n\nExperience:\n\n\n* Master degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar.\n\n\n\n\n\nMandatory Requirements:\n\n\n* Knowledge of simulation systems: ODE, Bullet, DART.\n\n* Experience simulating complex systems.\n\n* Physics (mechanics) knowledge (torques, friction forces, damping etc.).\n\n* Sensor noise models\n\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Requirements:\n\n\n* Professional experience with robotic simulation tools, good c++ skills.\n\n* Experience with Unity3D and Unreal engine a plus\n\n\n\n\n\nFlexible Hours & 100% Remote Work:\n\nThese roles permit flexible working hours and are 100% remote.\nContract work or a permanent position: we can accommodate you. \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
